This is great.

Have to admire a guy willing to go through the gauntlet. My first question(s):

Why does Greg Ellis have to say to his teammates, “Guys, you can’t stay out all night, can’t expect to come in here and just turn it on.” Can we expect them to give us 100% effort in the future? If not, why should we support them? Door goes both ways fellas.

Greg Ellis comment

Love it that Greg Ellis shed some light on whatever is bringing that team down. Too much talent to get run over like that. I think he’s showing that the locker room still has some issues…..Warren Sapp himself said there were some hard heads in there….namely Tommy Kelly and Terrell Sands…..and personally I think T. Sands needs to go….every time I see him, he’s gettin pushed around or knocked on his ass….Tommy Kelly looks better this year….which is great….because he sure looked lazy out there last year!

I’m loving T. Branch, nice to see safeties around the ball again…unlike those horrible years we went through with Stuart Schweigert!

Yes

From a fan propective JaMarcus has been pretty solid so far and looked very crisp against NO, but unfortunatly most of the rest of the playing ….

After a little perspective and kool-aid, I am glad this happened now. No professional athlete wants to be embarrassed like that twice and will do their best to see that it doesn’t happen again. Just like anyone else at the top of thier profession ,most have gotten there by always giving 110%. and most take pride in what they have accoplished.

Anyone who thinks a player(s) would ‘let’ this happen is a fool and probably a slacker themselves.

JR or Garcia

I want to love J.Russell, but i have to admit, i’m loving Gradowski right now….he’s seems more at home and a more natural passer than JR.

Garcia is always #1 in my book, at least he looks like he’s trying his ass off out there, and is more mobile. I think right now we have better chance to win with the experienced back ups than Jamarcus. We’ve already seen what we missed out on when we passed up on Cutler.

I Got A Question

How are the Raiders taking the blow-out loss?

Awesome

I can’t really think of a question cause I’m still just stunned over Saturday.

How did this

come about? Is he going to have his own account or is he talking thru you?

I hope he uses his own account like Brad Ziegler did when the pitcher talked with A’s fans on the A’s blog in 2008.

I think the blowout will be a wakeup call for the Raiders

That blowout should make all the players realize that we have to step up. I expect us to play more harder than ever now

Trains , planes, and automoblies,.... better have my donuts!!!!

by dubzero23 on Aug 30, 2009 4:37 PM PDT reply actions

The last 6 years haven't been a wakeup call

It used to be in the Raiders organization that they don’t care how you act off the field as long as you perform on Sunday.

Now it just seems to be that they don’t care period. No one seems energized anymore or even fascinated to be part of the Raider mystique; and that was evident Saturday.

Players need to start caring and playing like Raiders and the coaches need to start lighting a fire under their players asses.

Just HIT somebody.

Great job guys

Wow! It will be nice to have Tyvon Branch on SB Nation

My question would be, How is Marshall handling all the negatives after the New Orleans loss?

Guys

I didn’t see that game but, 45-7 is not good Jamarcus looked good 15/18 153 yards nothing bad. Poor ball control and poor pass defense

Amazing, Jamarcus Russell hands off to McFadden who pitches it back to Russell who finds Darrius Heyward Bey in the Middle of the Field wide open 30, 20,10,5 Touchdown Raiders! Amazing. This telecast is Brought to you by Cable.

Some Questions For Mr. Branch

1) When did you realize you possessed incredible speed?
2) Are you still going to be the gunner on our Special Teams? Even if you start?
3) How did you injure your arm last year?
4) How are the Raiders handling the loss? Any loss in confidence?
5) Can you make more visits here at Silver And Black Pride? We love you here.

Thank You

disgusted raiders fan

Regular season, preseason, and even scrimmages, it just kills me to see the Raiders lose! How do the players take it? Does it make them angry like it does me, or do they just blow it off and say “there is always next week”? If I have to live through another humiliating season I am going to consider becoming a Niners fan. At least they are starting to move forward. The Raiders are still moving backwards. It seems like the Raiders have the intensity of a person working in an office cubical. Tyvon Branch, Please give me something that will boost my spirits about the team, because right now I am disgusted.

Nice job getting Branch! Thanks

What I want to know is:
What is the mood of the team this week?
What was the major reason they looked as ill-prepared and over-matched as they did on Saturday and what can they do to prevent that from happening again?

Wherever I go, that's where I am.

RAIDER PRIDE!!!

Thats a bunch of garbage!!! How can we be proud of this organization when they dont have pride in themselves!!!! Team UNITY!!!!! Something this team lacks!!!!

by tsal44 on Aug 31, 2009 5:01 PM PDT reply actions

LOOK AHEAD???

Better put last weekends blow-out loss behind them and get playin football….Times a tickin, so your coaches pull your heads out, and start directing this team in the right direction….It starts with AL, TOM, and assisant coaches….Earn your big pay-checks, and quit embarrassing us RAIDER fans!!!!
