Michael Crabtree is holding out!
LET'S MAKE A POST ABOUT A 49ERS PLAYER HOLDING OUT AND TALK ABOUT HOW MUCH WE HATE HIS GUTS!
WHAT A TOTAL AND COMPLETE LOSER MICHAEL CRABTREE IS!
I have been accused of dishing out "ESPN talking points" and now everyone wants a Michael Crabtree post because "the media said we shuld of took him insted of hayward bay!!111!"
"Who cares about the media and ESPN" has turned into "well, the media said we should have taken him, so let's make posts!"
What a freakin' joke this has turned into.
I'm done with responding to everyone's crap that is constantly flung in my face whether it deals with my DLD posts, Heyward-Bey dropping passes, Michael Crabtree's holdout or improving the image of the blog.

Amazing, Jamarcus Russell hands off to McFadden who pitches it back to Russell who finds Darrius Heyward Bey in the Middle of the Field wide open 30, 20,10,5 Touchdown Raiders! Amazing. This telecast is Brought to you by Cable.
Take a chill pill

I guarantee if the raiders pick him that this holdout wouldnt even had happened.
MEAT IS MURDER!! mmm tasty bloody murder.
Ya know, I've read this post multiple times...
and I’m still not 100% sure, but I get a strong feeling that Michael Crabtree is holding out.

Really?
You would dedicate a whole DLD to this? Instead of finding cool links about the Raiders? Like Nishal26 did about Ref’s coming to the training camp? I agree w/ you that Crabtree talk is irrelevant, but still.
You could have linked that Michael Huff is trying to win his job back.
Or that Mario Henderson is improving.
Or that Oakland signed FA OT Seth Wand.
Win, Lose, or Tie, Raiders til I die!
Or that our D tackles are not impressing yet,
Boo! Come on guys we need you. Kelley is apparently jumping off-sidesmore than he is staying on it and Sands is still lame.

Why should I take the time to do another DLD? This blog obviously lacks common sense.
I could have done a lot of things and I posted that Michael Huff link in the last DLD. All you have to do is look at my DLD posts and see how many links I drop throughout the day as well as in the actual post.

Well it is a blog, where people can voice opinions. Whether we agree w/ them or not. It’s only flung in your face if you read it. Heyward-Bey dropping passes is relevant since, after all, he is a Raider. And he was known for dropping passes in college too. And you’re the one that is marching this one man army to improve the image of this blog, which apparently most people think is fine. Yes, there are a few problem people and problem posts. And I think it should be moderated more before posts posted, but you’ll have that. It’s not really that bad, and it’s not your job to mold this blog, owned by Saint, into what you want.

And when these problem posts arise, the mods will deal with it accordingly. You’ll note i deleted the post that completely restated what nishal said about the refs at Raiders camp. When things like that appear, then yes the mods or myself will delete them. But we won’t delete posts just because they’re discuss a topic you’re tired of reading. Juts simply don’t read them.

Yep.
And sometimes it’s a fine line. I might look at a post and think “delete”, but then actual discussion breaks out, and I let it ride.
I'm here to talk about the past.
I agree, not that I am trying to say my opinion in this matters.
Part of judging what news to report, is gauging the peoples interest in it. Like in the sports world, while most everyone got sick of the Brett Farve saga, it was getting as much play as it was because it was still keeping enough viewers/readers interested.
Like it or not Crabtree is now going to be linked to the Raiders. I personally hope he holdsout forever and sucks, while DHB flourishes, so when I see either of the two of them I do not regret our draft pick or here others bash Al Davis’s decisions more than they already love to do.
And as Marquez says later, this is just another post about him creating more discussion about the WR who shall not be named.

I just said that for a while your DLD’s were irrelevant and seemed like you were just pushing them out to post a DLD. That’s the problem w/ a daily thing. If there’s no news, then you gotta fill it with something and it seems hurried or half hearted.

I’m just saying that this has gone really far. Alot farther than I thought it would. I know Crabtree doesn’t play here, but SF is just across the bay. The interest isn’t hard to fathom. Plus he was linked to the Raiders by the comments he made alone. But please, put future comments in the fanshots so we don’t repeat all this mess. Just because we’re Raider fans doesn’t mean we can’t compromise. :)

You were screaming yesterday about how stupid it was to talk about Michael Crabtree on this blog, then come out today with an entire DLD about it. Very hypocritical. With such a powerful tool of the DLD at your disposal to shape the discussions of this blog, why keep raking up the mud? Most of us are perfectly willing to let all of this Crabtree talk die.

the only off-season move I like from their standpoint...
is the signing of Brian Dawkins…. and he broke his wrist.
reported March 1st
The team announced it had signed seven-time Pro Bowl safety Brian Dawkins, who spent his previous 13 years with the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to a source, the contract is for five years and $17 million. The deal could escalate to as much as $27 million if Dawkins can reach some achievable performance levels.
Sorry.

The Broncos are “getting close” to signing Knowshon Moreno to a five-year deal with at least $12.5 million in guarantees.
“Significant progress” has been made of late, and Moreno is expected to agree to a deal with a maximum value in excess of $22 million. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the deal should be finalized as soon as Thursday night.
