The Jets/Vikings, because they didn’t rest their starters like weiners and fought all the way.

Minnesota has been to 4 SBs and lost every time (0 – 4)
Colts have been to 4 SBs and have won 3 times (3 – 1)
New York Jets have been to only 1 SB and won (1 – 0)
New Orleans has never ever been to a SB (0 – 0)

So, going by history, Minnesota will upset NO and advance to the SB only to lose again.
and the Colts will go through the Jets and win their 4th SB.

Jets Defense is tough

Wow, he flat dropped that ball which would have been a potential first down.

He’s a genius. He sees 12 men on the field and then quickly just hands it off to Donald Brown.

He gets into the act with a big catch and takes it down into New York territory.

The Jets have two touchdowns and the Colts have two field goals. Who would’ve thought that?

Pace blew that up in the backfield and the Jets have recovered the fumble!

If the Colts played their starters the first time around, the Jets could have been eliminated. Plus, their 19-0 record could still be in the forecast. Instead, the Colts have to play the Jets again and now the Jets are in total control of this game.

Two plays are really to thank for their 14 points. A big 80-yard pass from Sanchez to Edwards scored one and then a pass out of the wildcat set up another touchdown.

That kick means a lot. That’s a potential six-point swing at the least. You have to score off of turnovers, especially against the Colts. Plus, a 48-yard field goal should help Jay Feely’s confidence after missing that 44-yard field goal earlier.

Aside from that third down drop, Austin Collie is having himself a fantastic game.

Nnamdi Asomugha should be a nominee for demonstrating excellence both on the field and off of it.

The Colts have more first downs, passing yards, rushing yards, time of possession and fewer penalties; however, they’re losing the turnover battle and that may be the reason for trailing 17-13 at halftime.

He only threw the ball seven times in the first half. If throws it seven more times or less, the Jets will win.

Look at that. The Jets have called 21 rushes and 10 passes. That’s clearly their recipe for success offensively.

The dynamic duo in the passing attack have combined for just three catches.

Pierre Garcon has gone over 100 yards with that touchdown grab.

Collie and Garcon have combined for 13 receptions for 219 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

A 27-17 lead for the Colts with less than nine minutes to go has Indianapolis thinking happy thoughts to say the least.

Jumping out to a 17-6 lead, the Jets had surprised a lot of people yet again. Three years removed from an 18-point comeback against the Patriots for the AFC title, Indianapolis needed another comeback. With Peyton Manning on your team, it’s possible and it happened. A late touchdown before the half had cut the deficit to four points and the team fired back with two more touchdown passes from Manning to Garcon and Clark each. Running away with it late, a field goal from Matt Stover had given the Colts a 30-17 lead and a win by that very score. Ending it on a 24-0 run, the Colts are now bound for another Super Bowl trip.

Manning was 26-for-39 with 377 yards and a trio of touchdowns. Collie (7 receptions, 123 yards) and Garcon (11 receptions, 153 yards) each caught a touchdown pass, picking up the slack for Wayne (3 receptions, 55 yards) and Clark (4 receptions, 35 yards).

Force Sanchez to throw the ball and you will win. He threw it 30 times, about 10 times too many. The Jets only averaged 3.0 yards per carry, clearly not their recipe for success. They don’t have multiple ways that they can beat you. Congratulations to the Indianapolis Colts for being the best team in the AFC from start to finish.

Guess who’s replacing Peyton Manning in Miami this Sunday?

David Garrard has been selected to the Pro Bowl as Peyton Manning’s replacement, according to Garrard’s agent Phil Senich.

With Rivers and Brady being replaced by Matt Schaub and Vince Young due to injuries, David Garrard is next in line. That’s completely idiotic considering how Ben Roethlisberger is better than Garrard in every way.

The Saints, for the first time in franchise history, are headed to the Super Bowl.

This will be one of the best SB matchups in a while, but it looks like the Colts are the only true complete team in the league.

I can’t even remember. Not in my lifetime, I don’t believe, and I’m pushing 40!
