Prilosec NFL Victory of The Week: Poll: Week 7

We all know who Cable would vote for. (Photo by Justin Edmonds/Getty Images)

The voting for this week's Victory of the Week should be VERY lopsided. The Oakland Raiders scored the most points in their history, against a heavily favored Division rival ON THE ROAD.

I am still doing the research in order to determine if any 9 point underdog has whipped the favorite by 45 points. I am also courious to see if anyone has ever scored 59 points in 3 Quarters of play.

So Oakland Raider fans, here is the Poll:

Poll
Which team had the Prilosec Victory of the Week?
Browns over Saints
6912 votes
Steelers over Dolphins
575 votes
Titans over Eagles
417 votes
Packers over Vikings
1463 votes
Raiders over Broncos
4383 votes
Giants over Cowboys
1857 votes

Surprising results!

You’d think, especially on a Raiders blog, that the Raiders/Broncos game would win this poll. But it’s nice to see people are honest because I don’t think ANYONE saw the Browns beating the Saints! Hopefully there’s another poll next week with “Raiders over Seahawks” somewhere in it.

I think the results showing are from all blogs accross the SBN network.

I can see why people picked the Browns, since it was a bigger suprise to see them win. But I picked Raiders just because a few years from now nobody is going to remember the Browns victory (especially if the Saints continue their downward spiral), but the Raiders win is now official football trivia that could continue to pop up years from now.

Although Im a Hardcore Raiders Fan

Seeing the Browns beat the crap out of the Saints was awsome because i dislike any current or ex charger player and hoped they never win a superbowl.

Anyone can be a fan of a winning team, supporting your team when its down is what makes you a true honest fan.

I actually pull for Brees

Just so the Chargers are constantly reminded about what they could have had.

The Browns edge us?

Good for them. I think they need the hug more than us.

As much as the Browns win was a great victory for their franchise we still scored 59 points in a game we were the underdogs in.

That should have us winning this poll by a landslide.

Go Browns

The Browns have now beaten the reigning Super Bowl Champions 3 years in a row:

10/13/08 – Defeated NY Giants 35-14
12/10/09 – Defeated Pittsburgh Steelers 13-6 (a week after Grads and Co. beat Pitt too)
10/24/10 – Defeated NO Saints 30-17

Of course we’d all hope fans would recognize our dominant performance against the Broncos, but rivalry games are really only important to fans of the rival teams – to others it was just a game between 2-4 teams.

I HOPE

us RAIDER fans don’t get let down next week. The RAIDERS have GOT to be able to string together a run.I f we hadn’t blown the games against the Cards & 4fuckin9ers we could be on a seriuos roll! Just call me butter.

Butter or bitter?

You’re right though. We had a few very winnable games, especially the two games you just mentioned and we stunk up the joint. I am hoping this past weekend isn’t a fluke and we have just discovered truly how great this team can be. I hope the team recognizes that as well meaning last week was then and this is now. All our focus should be on our one-time division rivals the Seahawks.

I've never gotten over my hostility for them as a division rival.

I hate em

because I live in northern Oregon and it is considered their market area, so they have cost me seeing a lot of Raiders games on tv over the years..Tho I wish they were still in our division so I could go to a Raider game at least once a year.

And may it be a crushing defeat of the Seahags!

Kind of beating a dead horse here, still, the NFL is interested in protecting it's image, not players

These new rules are designed to pussify our game, let’s keep that in mind at all times. Though, a new nuggett has emerged, I believe, needs to be stated. The little hits thoroughout a ball game have, it is suggested by medical experts, as much impact as the ‘big hit’. So, if the problems are SYSTEMATIC, why the sudden urge to police pussy hitting? The answer is clear, the NFL is interested in staying out of the media’s giant gaping asshole of negativity sells modus operandi. It makes me sick to my stomach. Goodell and his cronies are hyberbole, hypocritcal stoogies.

FYI, if Gene were still alive, these rules would have to wait for the end of the year, he would have taken there reports and wiped his ass with them. God Bless, you Gene, where ever you are.

Maybe

We should ask Donk fans who had the victory of the week…. if they’ve left the closets where they were hiding.

This is Horse s**t

The Saints have been having trouble all year. When was the last time an NFL team scored 59 points? Christ, we were expected to lose too.
