This one was almost impossible to answer.

I love them all right now. But I am just going to come out and say it, “I love Dick” Wait….that didn’t come out right. What I meant to say is, “I’m gay” no wait that’s not it at all. “Seymour is my hero!” There we go.

Seymour is the man !!!

He was designated as The Franchise player this year, and he’s played like it !!! The whole Defense is following his lead. We knew Nnamdi was going to be the man in the defensive Backfield, but had a question about the Front 7 !!! The Question has been anwsered, and his name is BIG DICK !!! That just don’t sound right, but it is, what it is !!! He’s played big in every game, so far this year !!!

Gotta go with Nnamdi on this one

This guy is the Raider Nation ambassador to the world. Everything I love in a player, and the best player on the team for years. This guy deserves to be on a winner and I’m glad the team around him is getting him there. The Awesome-One forever baby!

There are so many I wanted to put on, but

am trusting people to utilize the write in feature. I have been amazingly impressed with Marshall’s play calling. To be honest, I didn’t think he had it in him. I love the safety blitzes. This team doesn’t need to blitz much, but he seems to call them at the perfect time. Big ups to ol’ man John.

Absolutely. Big ups...

but I think it has everything to do with Waufle and the position coaches melding together as well. I think they built this defense to have the personnel they’d need to do the things we’re find ourselves able to do again.

It’s awesome to have the defensive identity that is a staple of Raider great teams! Hue is beginning to show us the offensive juggernaut we are capable of being. I’m excited to see the personnel all come together healthy at the right time of the year as well. Lots of possiblities!

No props for Marshall

Once (or maybe three times) every game, the secondary appears to be re-enacting hurricane Katrina. The Charger game was almost lost due to horrible preparation in the secondary. As was the Chief game.

Our secondary (other than Nnamdi) is just average. Fortunately, they’re playing way over their heads. But, sometime they don’t even know who to cover. That’s Marshall’s fault. He has to get them in position to make plays, or we won’t see the playoffs.

by TheoP on Nov 11, 2010 3:10 PM PST up reply actions

Right now, it's Jacoby!!!!

Because if you don’t love that kid right now after summarily dismantling the Chiefs and almost singlehandedly providing the lift when we needed it most, you didn’t see that game last week. Richard and the defense was stellar as well, and take away some of those bogus PI calls, and they were near perfect, but we know we can expect at least that many game changing calls made against us will be the norm, and must play to the whistle like we are in the division battles.

So stoked to have so many guys playing well that I can almost have a new favorite every week. I’m not asking any questions, but it looks like these guys totally believe in each other.

A year ago I’d have answered Nnamdi alone! Hue Jackson and John Marshall are heroes themselves these days, and it’s great to see them unleash things, and therein their full potential as coaches and the Raiders as a team.

nnam by far

hes been with us thru all the shitty days.. sucks that he couldnt play during in the chiefs game… not even to cover people just so he could enjoy the moment

and for me dmc is putting a stranglehold on #2

watching him become the player we all hoped he would become when he got drafted has been, in my opinion, more enjoyable than the 5 wins.. cuz it gives so much hope for the future of this team

Cable for me

Cable for me is my favorite person he is the middle man. Al Davis trust him and the coaches and players trust him. He is like the GM of this team. I say after this year Al davis should promote HJ to HC and Cable as the GM of this team.

Interesting concept

he does seem to have a thing with the personnel. Who would call plays?

HJ would hold the rights to calling the plays on offense still.

awesome! thanks for the link, man!

I saw some of that, but not all of it, and not in sequence like that. I like how he went to bat for the guys with the refs, and maintained control of the team, and the objective, after bad calls

Reminded me of Madden !!!

But Madden would’ve had some bleeps in there, after all those bad calls !!! Especially after the lead Ref, tried to explain those bullshit calls !!! He kept it in, which could possibly benefit the team, on calls down the road. Truefully, he had the right, to cuss them fools out !!!!!

Yes. Maddenesque he is. A lineman who grew up to become HC of our beloved Raiders who instills toughness

and fosters passion while managing the ongoing chess game more in the mold of Jose Capablanca, known for all out attack and aggressiveness than the conservative positional / attritional Wilhelm Steinitz

That's not a BAD IDEA !!!

Maybe Harbaugh, From Stanford might be interested in being the OC, for a winning team !!! And didn’t he work with Hue, before taking over the Head Coach position at Stanford ???

We all know how Al Davis doesnt like to pay coaches.

I think that after the 9er game Cable had a conversation with Al that went a little something like this. Cable told Al that he needed to let him and his coaches coach the team that they can win if he lets them coach. Al then said why should I let you coach your just my puppet. Cable then told Al if you let me coach this team and we still dont win, you can fire me for insubordination ill sign the papers and you dont have to pay me. The only thing that Al heard is " I dont have to pay you" Deal.

This my reason why we have seen a different raider team after the 9er game. Why we have seen Action Jackson and Field Marshall.

Mr Davis is my favourite Raider

Notice how the one thing every single person in the poll has in common where that they are Al Davis moves and 4 of the 6 he has been criticised for heavily!

Mr Davis has done a stellar job putting this squad and these coaches together.

"We want to win. The Raider fans deserve it. The Raider players deserve it, even my organization deserves it. You have to win and you have to win with a vision for the Super Bowl. That's our passion here." - Al Davis

Agreed, but

to say Al is your favorite Raider is like saying blue is your favorite color blue. Mr. Davis IS the Raiders.

I am afraid anytime I hear about an Al Davis press conference.

It’s never to announce anything positive. If Cable comes out with his hand behind him like a ventriloquist then the whole Al is dead theory will be proven to be true.

By the logic of the haters that insist Al coaches the team from the box with his special hotline to the coach

That Al could get some coach if the year votes?

I went with DMC

because we haven’t had a strong running back in a while.

If you asked me other times it could be Nnamdi.

The most underrated on the list right now is Hue Jackson. The players are buying into him and cable in a way other coaches haven’t reached them since Chucky.

Just keep winning, baby!
