Around SBN: In Crunch Time, Spurs Don't Change Their Game

Foresight Forum

Following TAW's advice, may I present the Open Prediction Thread. Lay down any predictions you have for the upcoming slate of games--especially the KC-Den contest. My 5-star pick for Week 10 is Baltimore over Atlanta. Bank on it. Easy money, baby.

As much as I'd like Den to win

I don’t think they have snowball’s chance in Hell. KC 27 Den 14

Baltimore/Atlanta

Sorry about you not getting the Baltimore over Atlanta correct. Once again you can blame it on the refs. That push off by the WR was clear as day and no players was blocking the refs view. Trust me, if that would have been one of our Raider WR’s, that flag would have thrown so fast it would made the worlds spin the opposite direction. Refs should be penalized for making bad calls or missing calls especially if they are blatant just like the league penalize players for hits even if the ref does not make the call in the game.

The lock of the week has to be NYG 38 over DAL 14.

Maybe too soon to fire Chilly but definitely if GB beats them in their house on Sunday!

Yay! F off Favre and take your bff with you.

Good call

I couldn’t find a decent stream for the game, but I was astonished to see that final score. The Bears are the Cardiac Kids of this year.

4.5 is a lot of points for NE.

I think NE pulls off the upset 27-24. Also as for kc and the donks, I think den pulls out the upset special of the week, 24-19.

I like Houston +1.5 over Jax

I think Jax is a crappy 4-4. SF -6 over St Louis really? Of course I remember saying this about another SF game and they covered.

You are right on about Houston's secondary,

but Jax struggles against the run and they aren’t great against the pass either. Agree on KC. The point spread seems way too low. But hey, I am all for an upset on that one.

Me too, KFC getting themselves beat advances us to 1st while taking the R&R bye - what's not to love?

Today I’m with j-man, pulling for the mountain dwellers.

RaiderDamus' off-week predictions

Raiders 247, BYE 0
Lions 33, Bills 16
Bears 27, Vikings 17
Jets 41, Browns 6
Colts 38, Bengals 19
Buccaneers 27, Panthers 13
Texans 31, Jaguars 26
Chefs 34, Donkeys 24
Giants 51, Cowboys 21
Cardinals 24, Seahawks 9
Rams 27, Niners 24
Pittsburgh 16, Patriots 13
Eagles 38, Redskins 20

Now, these are not games I have taken the time to really study or prepare detailed visions of, this is just me glancing at two teams and which one is at home and making a snap judgment call. I will probably be about as accurate as flipping a coin. Let’s hope I am a little better than that; I have a reputation to uphold around here!

I don't think we'll run the score up like that

We’ll be 178 nil over BYE going into the 4th, then put in the 2nd string. Other than that…

Kick their ass and take their stuff!

Yikes!

This week was brutal for me. I got ALL the late games wrong, and half the early ones. Oh well, I don’t mind because I like the Niners, Jaguars and Seahawks (a little) and I hate the Steelers. Someone had to lose that game.
