Simple solution to solve our QB problem: ESTABLISH A SYSTEM.

I Posted this before in the fighting .500 thread, but I will state it again:

Instead of arguing about the problems, offer solutions.

I look at the players that we have, and I do see this: The system needs to be changed. I believe that Grad is more of a West Coast type player; he can dink and dunk it well. And given our receivers do comeback routes best (LOL), that system would help him fluorish.

Campbell is a Playaction/Shotgun/7 step drop quarterback that can throw the deep bomb. We have the run game for it, but the receivers are not consistent enough to produce. The O-Line is also not able to handle it.

However the biggest problem we have is that we CANNOT stop the blitz. Pittsburgh Blitzes. The Jets uses the Blitz. San Diego uses The Blitz. Tennessee Blitzed. Because of that, we have to stack the line with 6 linemen. One thing I will give Al’s Wingman credit for, he is right about the O-Line not being good. They’re okay. The Best players are on the left side, and ONE OF THEM IS A ROOKIE.

We haven’t chosen a definite system yet. And we don’t have the line or the receivers Baltimore does. And then, we add in Injuries.

All in all, If we choose a system and stick with it, the right QB will be in. I say, run the 6 linemen, with Ford, Higgins, and DHB. Let Murphy, Miller, and Chaz sit and heal. Then Let JC do his work.

For Grad, put in Myers, Ford, and Higgins (DHB needs to heal as well.) along with McFadden. Or, give him 1 WR (Higgins), 1 TE (Myers), and Marcel Reese.

See what I did there? I established a SYSTEM, which should Optimize the potential for EACH Quarterback we have.

We can argue all we want. Point is, the question is, WHAT IS BEING DONE TO MAKE SURE THAT THE OFFENSE PERFORMS AT 80% all the time. 80. Because we can win games with the Offense at 80%.
