Full Q&A after the jump.

Hello Raider Fans!! It has been a good two weeks here in Oakland. Thank you guys for showing up and supporting us. We are looking forward to a wild crowd on Sunday!!!! We expect you guys to be out in full force. It is good to be a Raider right now, and we are rolling with it. We are starting to really gel as a team, and we have to build off our successes and learn from our mistakes. It has been a good week of practice, and I like the focus I see this week from everyone.

TB

TRW: The Raiders really backed up the big win in Denver with a huge and convincing win against the Seahawks to go back-to-back for the first time since 2008. Many Raiders and coaches have said they are disappointed to be 4-4, believing they should be 8-0, realistically, the Raiders "should" be 6-2. What is the feeling now, the confidence level and the outlook now after the last two dominating performances?

TB: We are feeling good. Confidence breeds confidence, and right now we are playing off of that big time. We’ve got a tough team coming in this week so we have to get after it again.

TRW: The defense has really stepped up and seems to be really attacking their opponents physically now, to the point where you guys are wearing down your opponent. Does this have to do with really playing to the scheme and now reacting as opposed to thinking?

TB: Definitely both. You cannot do one without the other. I am out there thinking the whole time, but as I get a better feel, the reacting comes naturally.

TRW: You got yourself a hell of a pick off a deflection that started with Routt where you were in the stride and in the right place in the right time. These last few victories, you seem to be around the loose ball a lot. What's going on there? Also, it looked like after the pick you were going to do that punch out dance again on the sideline, then you cut it short. What's going on there?

TB: We practice swarming to the ball all the time, and I have been in the right place at the right time the last few weeks. I was never about to do the dance this week though…maybe after my next touchdown!

TRW: The Raiders are playing a meaningful game in week 9 for the first time since 2002 with the Chiefs coming into Oakland this Sunday with the Raiders having a chance to get within a half a game of 1st place going into the bye week. The Raiders have already this season got two monkeys off their back by beating the Chargers and by winning two in a row. Now, the remaining monkey will beating the Chiefs at home and winning a big game in Oakland. Without giving away any secrets, what should Raiders fans expect this week from the Raiders versus the Chiefs? What is it that the Chiefs offense present to the Raiders defense that you really need to be ready for?

TB: Expect a good game. We are focused and prepared. Their running game is tough and they rotate a lot of guys in there with some real skills. It is going to be some real smash mouth Raiders football!!

Thanks Tyvon and best of luck against the Chiefs.

How do our rookie CB's look in run support?

With Nnamdi potentially out, how do you plan to compensate for that loss?

How does having the pressure of a having "meaningful game" feel?

Meaningful game = Having something to play for other than pride

I'm getting pissed off.

Week 9 and there has yet to be a Raider game broadcast where I’m at.

The only silver lining is that the Raiders usually play the 3pm game. Since there are only 3 or 4 games at that slot, I get to see a fair chunk of it on NFL Redzone.

Can’t believe I won’t get to see this game. Philly and Indy? Really?

Tyvon! Hit those bastards so hard they soil themselves - knock at least one of those

assholes out of the game – OR TWO. Many of us hate this team for good reason, show no mercy to them, Intimidate and Dominate! Send them back home humiliated. This week we take back the respect and recognition that is our due. Full Throttle Pressure that steals their oxygen and suffocates them; then in the 4th quarter just pour it on!!.
You are playing like Pro-Bowlers now – the Black Death has been Unleashed!

PLEASE HIT CAN YOU "INSTRUCT ME HOW TO DOUGLAS"...

in all seriousness, hit your dougie should be only done in the endzone and not on the sideline… so please take one to the house and hit that dougie!!!

I beleive a way to start this game

Is to let Mike Mitchell lay one on Charles knocking him on his ass make him scare to run even if we get a personal on it. It will set the tone for the rest of the game. The offense needs to get on teh board and often to have them abandon the run and have Cassel beat us like they done to the other two team the have the QB’s beat us.

Anyone can be a fan of a winning team, supporting your team when its down is what makes you a true honest fan.

Tyvon on Sunday

Tyvon I’m going to be going to the game this weekend for my birthday, and my first trip ever to Oakland. I will be in the Black Hole cheering for you guys, but this is my first trip and was wondering if you can give me some suggestions on where to go while I’m in town?

there needs to be

some sort of tyvon branch fan club somewhere!
looking from the outside in, ty is coming into his own and becoming a ballhawk both in loose balls and has proven when it comes to helping in run support!

i have one thing to say IF tyvon actually reads this and communicates it to his teammates:

DO NOT REST! DO NOT STOP TO CELEBRATE! DO NOT THINK YOU ARE ON A ROLL! THE INSTANT YOU STOP TO THINK ABOUT HOW GOOD YOU ARE OR HOW HOT YOU ARE, TEAMS PASS YOU BY LIKE NOTHING!!!!

Hey, Tyvon. How do you plan paying for the fine you’ll get after you knock the shit of Jamaal Charles? I know you’re rich and all, but Goodell has a buring hate for the Silver & Black; so expect a whopper. Good luck out there.

Tyvon while you personally have been around the ball the last few weeks you still only have one pick and the team has four as a whole to show for it.

Are you feeling a little frustrated that you aren’t generating more considering all the sacks and the lop-sided scores? I think you personally are due for a huge game as I think kc is due to finally have a game where the good fortune with turnovers is about to catch up with them.

Injury Bug keeps on biting...
  1. DB (Nnamdi) #1 TE (Miller) both doubtful and likely out. Losing Nnamdi is huge because he is capable of shutting out KC’s #1 WR Bowe. This would have depleted what passing game KC had. Instead, the Raider’s pass rush will be even more vital.
The big test will be Oakland’s rush defense vs. KC’s #1 rushing offense. Prior to the Denver and Seattle game, Oakland’s rush defense was full of holes as swiss cheese. But in the last two games, they have been dominating. This will be the key to the game because no team have been able to stop KC’s rushing game this year. Oakland also has another advantage because KC has not played as well away from home. Oakland is 3-1 at home this year and will have the support of a sold out stadium. For success on offense, Oakland must stick to their bread and butter game plan, which is a lot of carries for McFadden and Bush. But, this year’s offense is no longer predictable. Oakland will take shots down field and are very unpredictable with their play calling. New offensive coordinator has made a world of difference for the Raiders.
You can say when Oakland looks in the mirror they can see a lot of the Chiefs in them. Strong rushing game, strong defense, suspect passing offense and QB play a potential weakness. Both teams don’t turn the ball over very much and both punters and kickers are very solid. Old fashion hard nose game with the winner by a FG. 20-17.
