Prilosec NFL Victory Of The Week: Who Thinks The Raiders Will Win This One?
As is a weekly tradition, the Oakland Raiders have again been nominated for the Prilosec Victory of the Week. Please take the time to make us number one and they will be written about on SB Nation's Home Page for everyone to read. This team deserves the press. I know that the Brown victory was more of a surprise, but this Raider victory actually means something on the NFL landscape.

I can understand votes for Browns over the Pats...
…but Eagles over the Colts? Really?
I understand
the raiders beating the chiefs in my perspective ment more that the browns beating the the pats, but the BROWNS BEATING THE PATS, thats the victory of the week, and the raiders a very close second. as for the VICKS beating the colts ( i know you can’t use injuries as an acuess), but if Peyton had his team behind him the VICKS would’nt have won that game
+1
The Raiders win over the Chiefs was the most meaningful win but the Browns over the Pats was simply much more shocking!

Love the Browns winning against NE that was huge. For us winning at home against the Chiefs and stopping the ugly
streak was big, especially with 8 key players either not playing or injured early. But, did not vote our game because I do not consider it an upset. We are the better team and will demonstrate that in KC (again) more convincingly.

I’ll take 11 players with heart on the field over 11 guys with just talent. Talent is fleeting, it goes away over time. Heart is what drives you to be better. To push yourself beyond what you think your capabilities are. To show us that when you strive, all things are possible.- SMP

Hard to believe...
But I will find myself cheering for Denver this weekend.
Yes, but not too heartily. Our fate is really in our hands with KC facing the Chargers, Titans, Colts, Texans

Not heartily at all.
I’m hoping for 2-0 Denver.

Uhhh
We already played the Colts and Titans. We have a cake schedule. Your team makes to many mistakes and penalties to win consistently.
Yes 3 straight wins isn't that much even KC was able to do that earlier before they faded

OAK vs KC Replay
Tonight on NFL network. 9 Eastern time.
The one cool thing I got from the McClain interview was that he watched film from last year
and implied that the previous middle LB was forced to make plays… (but he never did)
Fuck Kirk Morrison!!!
Full quote: "I watched film, last year you had to double Seymour as well as TK, and they forced the middle linebacker to make plays, and if you watch film now, you see you can’t double those guys because you have to account for me in the blocking scheme."

The Raiders/Chiefs game...
definitely had me reaching for the Prilosec. Great win.
I voted for the Raider because
other than SBP no one believed we could beat the Chiefs. Especially with the amount of injuries we had on bothe sides of the ball, #26 rank rush defense, blah blah blah blah.
I didnt vote for the Browns vs Pats game because it was a trap game for them and as cocky as the PATS think they are, they thought they had that game won before it even started so IM GLAD THEY LOST outside our div teams the I HATE them with a PASSION.
Anyone can be a fan of a winning team, supporting your team when its down is what makes you a true honest fan.
um... we weren't cocky...
In fact. We are one of, if not THE most sincere teams in the nfl. We never try and boast about anything. lol

U know what I mean pat guy
just like years past when teams looked at their schedule and saw the Raiders they saw automatic win. So the Pats came in cocky easy win and got there asses spanked.
Anyone can be a fan of a winning team, supporting your team when its down is what makes you a true honest fan.
That can be arguable.

Not really. Your team is full of cocky jackasses that needed to get slap back to reality.
I don’t really blame the players tho. They come by it honest. They get it from their coach.
Seymour is a cocky jackass too but I love that motherfucker to death, and he plays out of this world football for us. But coming to Oakland humbled him a bit. Brady’s gotten to the point where he knows refs won’t let anybody touch him so he might have came into the game thinking it would be a cakewalk. It was good to see them get gut checked ol’ school style. I hope you died inside a little bit watching that ass kickin’.

Show me proof that they were cocky(or something indicative besides them loosing).
The patriots are considered one of the MOST unselfish teams in the league. Belichick isn’t cocky at all either. He gameplans for any team that is next on their schedule, and he strives to try and exploit the teams weaknesses. They just out-game-planned him, and out coached him. He admitted it in his press conference. Belichick isn’t the kind of guy to get cocky.
Also You didn’t even WATCH the pats game. Execution was was the problem, as well as turning it over in key moments of the game. It had NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING COCKY either!
Did you come up with this because of what their record was, and that they lost to the brows? That’s pretty weak if you did.
The MEDIA may have made the pats look cocky, but that doesnt mean the pats themselves were cocky.
Brady’s gotten to the point where he knows refs won’t let anybody touch him so he might have came into the game thinking it would be a cakewalk.
Again, support your claim. And usually when he gets hit, he looks to his OL that blew his blocking assignment, or screwed up.

Some things never change

NFC-D: San Francisco vs. N.Y. Giants, 1981

AFC-D: Houston vs. Denver, 1991
NFC-D: Arizona vs. Minnesota, 1998
NFC-D: Carolina vs. St. Louis, 2003 (2 OT)
Yeah? So, is that why you guys were busy copyrighting "19-0" and authorizing books, t-shirts, etc. long before Super Bowl XLII even started? Is that why Belichick walked off the field immediately after the game, refusing to shake Coach Coughlin's hand?
Mmm-hmmm. Definitely one of the class acts of the League, alright! Please.
If anything, the Giants are one of the most—if not the most—sincere teams in the NFL; they’re a team that truly deserves each and every bit of success they get. Just like the Raiders.

So the PATS organization did this? Are you KIDDING ME??? The pats had nothing to do with it! It was the freakin’ Mayor(or some political guy) who authorized the t-shirts and the parade. NOT THE DAMN PATS ORG.!!!!!!

Clearly, a great many NFL fans are sick of the Pats and Colts
judging by the votes for the upset victories. Was surprised we didn’t garner more votes, but then again, upsetting the Chiefs wasn’t nearly as big a deal to the rest of the NFL.
It means the world to this team at this point, and many of them are identifying this to be the catapult they really need.
A controversy is being stirred about the Campbell thing, but I was listening to Charles Davis—who bought the Raiders on the buy/sell segment—on NFL playbook and almost agree that Grads is the better change-up wildcard than would be the Gradkowski going out to injury and then Campbell coming in. I think we know we won’t hesitate to pull Jason if he gets that glazed over look in his eyes in the huddle and the horrible pocket presence again rears its ugly head.
Then we all know what happens when Bruce comes in off the bench…. Especially in our house!!!!!!!
BRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEE
I really could only appreciate Mr. Davis’ refreshing perspective and positive spin, on what they are already titling a controversy.
We know this team can make lemons from lemonade. And this year’s draft class is full of cherries!!!!!!
Congrats, Raiders, Jacoby, Seabass, JC, and our mighty D!!!! Enjoy the bye week, and get well and 100%! We might find ourselves suddenly having to run some three wideout sets again, because it will be the right thing to do!!!! A problem we haven’t had for quite some time. I’m excited about the possibilities! GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!
Damaged the pipes just as badly this time as I did for the SD win, but the recovery time was shorter this time!!!!! My fan muscles are developing! You’re welcome, TC! We did earn that one too!

The one thing I took from the replay that I missed the first time around....
Darren McFadden hitting people.
Not just on the run near the goal line that even the commentators said something about. But in the pocket, picking up the blitz. Or on the interception where he popped the blocker and then made the tackle all in the same motion.
Loved it. This guy is quickly rising amoung the ranks of my favorites on this team.
McBroken seemed to take personal umbrage at McGraw, he hammered him repeatedly and when Jason through the pick
he tore through a Chief player to make a great stick. McBadass is now more suitable than McBroken – McBadass it tiss.

YOU SAW THAT TOO?!
I know the play was over-turned and it was an INT anyway but D Motherfucking Mac laid the wood to McGraw and the other chef who tried to block him. This guy loves contact, especially dishing it out. Everyone on SB&P please go to NFL.com and continue to vote for all Raiders in the Pro Bowl ballot but specifically him and don’t stop voting for him.

Voted Raiders
The Browns over the Patriots? I get that it’s an upset but Cleveland kicked their ass so early and often their stomach was not what New England was holding.
I went to the Raiders Game and also re-lived the stomach churning agony on the NFL re-play. And we won! I cannot even begin to feel the awful, horrible, gut-wrenching, life-ending agony that Chiefs Fan enjoyed (I do like thinking about it though…I am nourished by their tears).
