I’m gonna say increase cause Orton obviously wasn’t working. Maybe it’ll provide a spark, but they are playing in our stadium, on a possibly rainy day. If the Nation gets behind the Raiders early and we score fast, it’ll just snowball from there for the Donkeys.

I think our Defence would be salivating at the opportunity to get the first crack at Tebow

I hope they get that chance.

God boy I would like to introduce you to Mr Death Ro……hell yeah!

I would love for Tebow to start

hes inexperienced enough to throw towards nnamdi. i think it severely decreases there chance to win, if they start him, i dont think they will be able to pass at all, then we just stop the run and blitz ALOT

The inexperience will definitely show UNLESS he gets off to a good start. I think if he’s pressured early, it’ll mess with his head the entire game. But he gets started early, his confidence could be the difference.

if we get a huge lead we should put in Bruce Campbell,Stevie Brown, and Travis Goethel

by RyanTheRaider on Dec 17, 2010 2:39 PM PST reply actions

Goethel should start at OLB anyway, or, bettter still at MLB if Ro's 'arthritis' keeps him out

No, joke j-man. I had my 2nd thumb surgery (after a Bennets fracture) b/c the basal joint had developed arthritis

The things is, it took several years after the fracture to for the arthritis to develop and Death Ro is a young man. So, it seems odd that he would already develop this disease that normally occurs several years after trauma.

I'm puy in mind of the Samuel L Jackson intro to our MNF game a few years back

“That’s not my boy! My baby had a face!”
That poor boy. If you’ve not seen that intro by the way, it’s on YouTube. Do yourself a favour :)

I'd feel better if McClain was available against Tebow

if there’s one guy on the team that’s studied this guy and maybe could read his tendancies it would be him. Should be able to beat them either way, I just think Rickey Brown is a terrible linebacker and should be strictly a special teams guy. I think the suggestion of Goethel at Mlb by SOB is a decent one.

I am probably crazy

but I think Tebow will turn some heads against us. Of course, I think the raiders will own him, but I don’t think he’ll suck.

I’ll take 11 players with heart on the field over 11 guys with just talent. Talent is fleeting, it goes away over time. Heart is what drives you to be better. To push yourself beyond what you think your capabilities are. To show us that when you strive, all things are possible.- SMP

Significantly Decrease

Even though the Broncos have struggled this year Kyle Orton has still put up 3600+ yards, 20 TDs to 9 INTs and a rating of 87.5. He is the Broncos offense.

With Tebow under center the Raiders don’t have to respect deep throws and can push 9 or even 10 guys into the box to stop the run and short passes. I envision it being a short day for the Broncos offense and a very long day for the Broncos defense.

Baptism by Fire (sacks) in the BlackHole for a rookie QB's 1st start?!

Damn man, I gotta tell ya, when I first saw this, I felt sorry for little Timmy Te_Blow, well almost, and then I envisioined him picking hiself up off the turf over and over and over, and it was then that I saw that that little girly bitch was crying again! And there shall be NO MERCY within the NATION! Punish this little bitch, make him cringe EVERY FUCKING TIME he has to think about playing the RAIDERS! Put this little bitch in his place early, let him no there is no chance against, and certainly NO MRECY from the NATION, I want this candy-ass to be so terrified of Houston and Shaunessy that even mention there names cause him to piss himself.

Oh yeah, DEFINTE decrease in chances to win for Donks.

NO MERCY!

And where do you base that he’s a terrible starter if he never started a game? We’ll do fine against Denver, but I won’t be surprised if Tebow makes a difference in this game.

by Walker Wallace on Dec 17, 2010 9:41 PM PST reply actions

No neither option?

Normally I’d have said decrease, but Orton just doesn’t make this offense go anymore, so a Tebow with zero start experience will have an expectedly tough go at it Sunday, and the football weather just makes all the more delicious for our D line and secondary.

Can’t wait! I really expect the Rams to beat the Chiefs too.

It’s not the Chiefs I’m worried about anymore, it’s the Chargers. They have the division in their hands and everyone is picking them to win it.

You know what really blows?

It’s the fact that the Chargers are playing the Bengals , because they both won their division last year while the Raiders had to play the Steelers.

Does this look as bad as it looks?

by Rich Langford on Dec 18, 2010 12:24 AM PST up reply actions

Maybe the football gods may shine on us this upcoming year.

If we finish 2 or 3 most likely we will get a 3rd place schedule with an improved team on both sides barring Al’s senility and injuries. The only thing that pisses me off is the fact all our wins came against the AFC and NFC worst and yet we should be undefeated in those games right now. 2-2 against the NFC may have cost us a division this year.

No doubt, that 2-2 against the NFC West looms large

The Raiders have noone to blame, but themselves. Another thing that blows, is that the Raiders had to play Tenn in week 1. They are a far different team now.

As long as we win the next two, and Chiefs lose one ...

Then that 10am game at KC is gonna be huge, cause the SD/Denver game at Denver won’t be ’til 1pm, right?

Even if we don’t make the playoffs cause SD wins out, I’ll still feel this was an amazing season. The fact that we went 6-0, won our last 3, and had the division lead for 3 hours on the last day, waiting on the outcome of the last AFC West game … I’m pretty cool w/that whole scenario for this particular season.

Obviously the playoffs would be even more amazing, but we’d end up home-field underdogs to the Jets or Ravens, and likely go one and done (esp. if it’s the Ravens).

by Brett J Valjalo on Dec 18, 2010 9:36 AM PST up reply actions

it would be a huge improvement,

and id be happy for the way our team played, but i would almost want to to give KC the game if it would keep SD out of the playoffs

by RyanTheRaider on Dec 18, 2010 9:48 AM PST up reply actions

F-that ...

Overall I’d rather the Queefs went to the playoffs than the Dolts, but if there’s a chance to end the season knocking an AFC West rival out of the playoffs by pounding them at their house … I’ll take the W.

It’s kinda fun to watch Rivers crying after an early playoff loss anyways ;)

I would be happy to go out with a win instead of laying down just so the Chiefs go in instead of SD. 9-7 no matter what the other two loser franchises do would be considered a great season considering what I’ve been put through for 7 + years.

i said almost

i dont want to give up our first season without a losing record in a very long time up, just to keep the dolts out of the playoffs, but if i hated them any more i would lol

I don't think the Raiders will be taking the Broncos lightly.

They should know all their chances at a 9-7 or even 8-8 season lie on this game against a team that used to love to play them for years. At least I’m hoping that’s the mindset of everyone on the Raiders’ roster and coaching staff.

they know they should have won that jax game and they know what they can do to the donkeys….i expect them to come out and play possibly their best game of the year, even tho it would be very hard to top some of the games they played this season
