PrintThe Raiders and the Broncos in a shoot-out in the first half with the game tied at 17.
The Raiders will need to make some adjustments in the 2nd half for Tebow and battle it out to get their record to 7-7 and 5-0 in the division.
It's pouring buckets out there at the Coli now and the field conditions are really bad and getting worse. Run, run DMC.

The problem with that alignment was not Huff at corner, but
the complete lack of a pass rush on that play. Nnamdi couldn’t cover for the 8-10 seconds Garrard had to throw on that play. Everyone wants to blame Huff on that play, but I blame Marshall for not blitzing to put pressure on Garrard to help out Huff on that play. He also did receive any Safety help either. I think CB is a better position for Huff than safety and would like to see him moved there.

PLAY-OFFS!!!?
The Raiders are too stupid to make the play-offs. Play-off caliber teams do not have play like the Raiders have been playing this season and this game truly proves it. It appears that after all of the streaks that we have broken this season, two will continue. Denver coming to Oakland and beating us after we beat them in Denver earlier in the season as usual and us loosing 10 games for the 8th season in a row. Someone needs to start the next thread called Who To Keep, Who To Cut for next season’s coaches and players.
The game isnt over.
But you are right about the Raiders not having a chance if they do make it to the post season. These are big steps we have taken though. You cant discount all of that no matter what happens at this point..

Once again the team as a whole is playing a bad game. Never in my life have a seen a team consistently do this. At least the Lions do play good defense every game or the Rams play good offense most of the times.

I for one sure am. It gives me hope for next year when they hopefully improve the D from this squad and really start to bring the hammer on teams. 30ppg Ill take it. it at least gives the D some leeway to manage with so they dont have the full pressure to shut opposing offenses down although if you ask me, Id take a smash mouth D anyday over a bend but dont break type.

Raiders have at the very least met my expectations at 7-9 minimum. Colts are beatable as is KC. May go 9-7 or 8-8. I stick with 7-9 however and I am A-okay with that

Now that we have some players that fit in the system; we need depth and discipline.
We have a lot of holes to fill to go anywhere in the post season anyway.
This team has been far more entertaining and competitive on a weekly basis then they were last year by far. That for me is the biggest sign of hope next season.

Nice Victory
It wasn’t as pretty as the one in Denver, but we’ll all take it. Not the greatest day by Campbell, but he was much better in the 2nd half than the 1st. McFadden had another great day, and the defense made the necessary adjustments for Tebow.
Tebow didn’t play as poorly as I thought he would. He seemed able to scan down-field and had enough arm strength to get the ball to his receivers. He also did a great job of making things happen with his feet. Way too early to tell with Tebow, but if he can play anything like Steve Young the Broncos will end up pretty happy with their draft pick.
Now for the bad news – Indianapolis beat the Jags today and are therefore still in the playoff race. I wanted so badly for the Jags to win today so that Indy would come out here without anything to play for. Now its going to be a dogfight. Look at it this way. This game showed JC stepping it up in the second half after a bad first. Thats the type of thing a Good/Great QB does. He finds a way to adjust in order to give his team the chance to win. Im not saying he was a monster like last week, but good to see he didnt make mistakes that cost us the game. Proving once again with a solid QB this team can make some noise. DMAC proved yet again why he is our play maker and needs the ball fed to him constantly while still mixing it up with Bush AND Reece. we have a 3 headed monster in the backfield its best we utilize it to our advantage.
Tebow only looked good because yet again our DC relies solely on man coverage and with Routt and Huff playing out there, I will hold my assessment on Teblow just yet. He made the throws yet, but I want to see what a good or great DC can do to disrupt this guy, cause I have a feeling any other DC will destroy him.
I am glad the Colts won. I was hearing way too much crap from JAx fans how they were a really really good team about to tear it up. Good that the Colts brought them back to reality. They shouldve lost last week vs Oakland too. But im letting that go. The last time the Colts came, our team was a lot worse than this years squad, and the Colts were a lot stronger. This time around, Our team is a legit fighter while Indy is a hobled team with a HOF QB. I like our chances especially since its the final home game of the yr. I hope its a sellout like last time. The electricity in the stadium drove Oakland to stay in the game late and lose on a 4 qtr play. 21-14. With DMAC and JC and the rest of the O playing like they are, I like our chances of pulling off a major upset. Even if they are not in it, I expect a great showing by them since this is Indy we are talking about.

Wow we hung in there and got the win at the end
im proud of this squad; this wholoe season has been full of ups and down and what if’s but in the end were at .500 going into week 15 adn capable of making the playoffs… my expectations were 7-9 and at this point there is no reason to believe we can go at least 8-8 or 9-7, good win.

The one MAJOR thing i'm pissed about is the illegal formation flag. THAT WAS NOT ILLEGAL FORMATION.
That there took away our TD and momentum a bit. Hence this became a close game for the first half. It should’ve been anothe 50-ish rout.

I mean if they are moving around and shuffling like that I'm pretty sure the HC and OC know what-
they are doing.
Plus the announcers further convinced me when they said they didn’t know what was up with that call. That to them it was legit.

Growing pains. I almost thought I saw DHB make a nice catch with his hands today.
Looking forward to the test next week. No matter what happens, it will be nice to head to the game with an actual chance to beat the colts and an actual chance to go to the playoffs.
its actually fun to be a raider fan again. Ill take it.
