With the Chiefs winning big today against Tennessee the Raiders were eliminated from any chance at the post season, but that hasn't stopped the Raiders from fighting and playing hard.
If the Raiders can put it together to pull out a victory in the 2nd half they will have 8 wins and avoid a losing season for the first time since 2002.

…see below for the original purpose of my correcting your misconception of First Amendment protections. This is a football blog, not a legal forum, and hindsight suggests this whole pointless argument could have been avoided.
That being said, although you raise a good point regarding unprotected fighting words, your reasoning still leaves open the other limitation I mentioned, speech intended to incite an illegal response in a hostile audience. The speaker need not intend to carry out the subject matter of the threat, but only intend to cause an illegal response. Of course, there is no “clear and present danger” of that occurring here, and I have not said so. As discussed below, the whole purpose of my original comment was to correct a widely-believed misconception of free speech.

…I was informing the other guy about the limitations of First Amendment protections regarding speech, meaning, people cannot just go around saying whatever they want, claiming a constitutional right to do so. Such misconceptions form the grounds upon which I TEACH constitutional law to others, not just spew forth (long forgotten) “con law lessons.” As I said above, those comments could fit within the confines of unprotected speech, albeit in a strict interpretation of First Amendment jurisprudence. Saying that they COULD fit, however, is not the same as saying they DO fit, a discrepancy that must have been lost in translation.

The last team we played against who was down around the bottom in rushing destroyed out defensive line. We can’t load the box because Peyton will play action and continue to destroy our defensive backfield.
Wanna know why they’re so good? Their HB’s are the best at picking up blitzes, which give Peyton that extra second to make the throw.

Since we just built a new stadium. The Colts will be in Indianapolis for as long as possible. Raiders might move back there where they can be the favorite team of drains on society again.

our team thrives on defense and running game. when going up against your team, we need our best defensive players in. Seymour is gigantic to the team, and #1 in the offseason to re-sign.
Plus you guys have freeny and mathis. we have no one besides mcclain and asomugha. And peyton doesn’t need to throw it to asomugha to pick us apart, and mcclain is a rookie who is still learning the ropes of the nfl, and thrust into starter.
