IMO we need to start the off season by dumping a lot of dead weight and then focus on a few big contract stars on each side of the ball that produce.

Of these players the ones whom u may disagree with are Gerrard Warren,Greg Ellis and Thomas Howard. I think Warren is a good leader but he is much to expensive to keep for what he does on the field. He is a good Three Technique in a four man front and that is valuable but not at his price. Were paying for Tommie Harris in his prime and not getting what we paying for. Greg Ellis is awesome but i don't think his body will hold up another year and i believe in Matt Shaughnessy. Howard can not stop the run, he can not shed blocks and while he is fast in coverage we can put a safety on the field in nickel situations

Players Who Should Be Resigned:

Sebastian Janikowski

Richard Seymour

Bruce Gradkowski

These players are important to the future of the team. Gradkowski is our QB of the future and Seymour is essentially our first rd pick next year so he must be locked up. Janikowski is a great kicker finally proving himself worthy of a first rd pick and now he is gonna get paid and will stay as our ace in the hole should we ever make the playoffs and need a clutch kick form over fifty yards.

The draft should focus on replacing our Offensive Line on the Right Side. I think Trading down and targeting Mike Iupati to play RG for us would be a smart move. He is supremely Athletic with the size to move to Tackle at some point, Imo definitely worth a first rd pick. In the second Rd i think a RT or RG whatever u need to fill, assuming Iupati PLays the other should be filled. Kyle Calloway could play RT, Jon Asomoah can play RG, Maukirce Pouncey can play RG, Zane Beadles can play RG if any of them are available i would select them.

The rest of the draft can be used to selct depth along the Defensive frontseven we would have two third rd picks and whatever picks we would receive for trading back in the first rd . Torrel Troup could be a good DT for us to man the NT position and keep Olinemen off Morrison and George Selive could be like Brian Orakpo for us. Moving an athletic DE to SLB in our defense and replacing him on thir downs with Mike Mitchell.
