Good
I was never a fan of Warren Sapp. And how can he bash on the Raiders’ past seasons, when he was part of it?

lol Cause the raiders sucked those last past seasons anyways tho....
I think my mouth was hanging wide open when I heard this news. Can’t believe out of all people he’d get caught up in this mess lol

It's a conspiracy
First Michael Irvin gets hit with a lawsuit yesterday. Now Warren Sapp is arrested by police. Coincidence. I think not. I’m thinking vast ESPN conspiracy to sabotage the NFL network. Well, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

News Update
Former NFL star Warren Sapp was released from jail Sunday on $1,500 bond, a day after being arrested for allegedly choking a woman in his hotel room.
Sapp was released at about 11 a.m. Sunday — a time the NFL Network analyst would have been helping with Super Bowl coverage.
The network has pulled Sapp off the air until it investigates the matter.

Screwed again.
How about the refs. calling no touchdown against the Saints with the dropped ball after crossing the goal line in the 3rd. quarter. That call was challenged and I said to myself, “Hell ,I know the outcome here”. This exact situitation happened to the Raiders earlier in the year against ( I can’t remember). If you remember the refs. went against the Raiders and took the touchdown away. With the Saints they overturned the call on the field and gave the Saints the touchdown. Exact same situation, Saints get 6 points Raiders fall to a higher draft pick. All I can say is - B-U-L-L S-H-I-T.

yeah i agree
it was the monday night opener against the chargers. russells fat ass threw a perfect pass to louis murphy, murphy caught it two feet down his ass hit the ground the ball came out and what do you know? the ref’s overturned it. and its kinda like the tuck rule hadn’t seen them call that before or since. maybe we should just start refering to them as Raider Rules. you know the ones that only oakland has to abide by

I am with you on this one...
Acording to rules applied to the Raiders, you must have possesion throughout the catch for a touchdown. Those rules do not apply to everyone else.
However, it wasn’t the biggest play of the game and the Saints won by more than that score, unlike the situation with the Raiders opening MOnday night.
That onside kick to open the third quarter and pick six by the Saints put the game away.

While many bad calls have been made against the Raiders, the right call was made last night
it was more about possession before breaking the plane. Nothing says you have to land once possession is established and the plane is broken by the football in the hands of the carrier or receiver.
This will continue to be a problem refs will get right about fifty-fifty, and one team, will always be pissed.

believe your referring to Lance Moore's acrobatic catch for a 2-point conversion
That was a heroic display of concentration and there was no doubt whatsoever that it was good. I was surprised the ref standing 5 feet away didn’t call it right and the challenge was even necessary.
Take another look at it here:

and ironically, it had nothing to do with the outcome of the game
While you could argue many of those the Raiders were robbed of had everything to do with outcomes, in their respective games.
He’ll always be Louis, “you can fairly add 1 td to my statbooks” Murphy to me!

i agree also that the right call was made for the saints
just a shitty run of the mill call for the raiders. just wish the playing field was level for everybody.
