The contract
Is really, really bad. Interesting read though.

How so?
Best CB in the NFL deserves this type of money
We all love the Warriors..
We all hate Cohan as an owner of this franchise…
That's exactly it
It’s way too much money for arguably the best CB in the NFL. Any other team would make him restructure if he were part of a trade. It’s just another example driving home the point the Raiders need a GM that knows what he is doing.

Nnamdi deserves every penny of that contract
He IS the best CB in the league, I dont care what you say, Try putting Revis on this team and see if he puts up the same numbers as he did with the Jets. Nnamdi does something more importnant than getting INTS. He makes the QB afraid to throw to a whole side of the field. If we get another CB in here to do the same to the right, Expect Rex Ryan to cry about it being not fair how were better defensivly

I was explaining how Aso was better the Revis months ago
IMO giving 16+ million a year to a CB is not the way to build a professional roster that wins. Everyone knows it besides Al and perhaps a few fans. For the record I am glad we have him but I think the contract really binds up the organization. I certainly don’t blame Aso for making as much money as he can but I doubt another GM grants him or any other CB that type of coin. BTW, there is a better then average chance that 16+ will go up.

Overstated. QBs have 3 to 4 targets and Aso is playing man - so he covers btw 1/3 and 1/4 of the field and not
1/2 as you claim. Also, the implication of your theory of paying the best the most (Aso $12.1 million, Seymour $12.4 million) would allow us to have 10 great players on our 53 man Roster – the other 43 would play for nothing.
