Russell skips out on voluntary workouts

suprise, suprise.

Star-divide

Just seen it on BSPN .What else is there to say? This guy is human garbage. I don't know how anyone or anything can seriously believe that this trash is capable of leading the great Raiders to the Superbowl let alone a winning record. This steaming heap of mucus can't even lead himself to a gym or his very own place or work. Cut this cancer immediately. Its hurting the team more keeping him around, just cut him and move on Al. I can't wait to see some of the excuses from his 1 or 2 fans on the comments below. Raider Nation!!

Bench-Meister

After being benched last year and saying you will see a different JaMarcus Russell next year, what possible excuse can you have for missing the first workout?

by Mallard Davis on Mar 15, 2010 1:47 PM PDT reply actions

Yeah I know, but thankfully he is too stupid to invest his money so one day in the near future he will be another broke idiot on the street. After his stint with us, his football career is over.

If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you.

At somel level it makes me wonder

if he’s pushing to get cut. The trip to Vegas after the end of the season (which the team covered for) and another late start to the offseason workouts is least bit troubling. This guy pretty much believes he’s already a success, so why try working at being better? Sad really how someone could abandon the team that has invested so much into him already. At some level I had hoped he would prove us all wrong and be a stand up guy, but it’s just not happenning. The sooner he checks out, the sooner the team can move on, even if Al can’t.

Does He Get It?

Questions of his intelligence starts an argument by some, but does this guy get it? Is this just immaturity?

by Mallard Davis on Mar 15, 2010 2:03 PM PDT reply actions

Possibly

Is AL too dazed to not see how this affects the team?

by Mallard Davis on Mar 15, 2010 2:06 PM PDT up reply actions

Well-- the team mocks him ("it's a horror show" and "don't hold your breath")

Their disgust is palpable. Notg sure it affects them beyond that. They shun him, more or less. He, in fact, may be the one more affected.

by Spirals galore on Mar 15, 2010 2:11 PM PDT up reply actions

Chosen One

Well, it is good the team has not been told that he is number one this year then…

Amen! I have said this:
Cut this cancer immediately. Its hurting the team more keeping him around, just cut him and move on Al. I can’t wait to see some of the excuses from his 1 or 2 fans on the comments below. Raider Nation!!

since that game last year when he had his (last, imo) chance to earn his right on this team’s depth chart, when Gradkowski fell to injury. You cold see the life get sucked out of the stadium, and it was clear. We can’t cut him fast enough, and no argument for how much money would be saved can change my mind. It’s money well spent, as far as I’m concerned. He gives football a bad name.

David White

David White reported that when he asked two of the starters where Jafatass Bustell was one laughed and said “It’s a horror show”, and the other said “Don’t hold your breath”

I really hope he comes in a 350 lbs to training camp and misses all voluntary workouts; MAYBE, just maybe that would be enough for Al to cut him.

The team is done with him.

Just look at how it seemed so obvious Mario was playing bull-fighter against Orakpo in the 2nd half of the Redskins game. How can Al not cut him now that they aren’t hurting in the cap if they did? Easily this off-season is a failure as long as he’s making $10+ mil this year still on this team.

private pyle

Not that it would help but I envision the entire team beating JR with socks filled with bars of soap (ala full metal jacket) It wouldnt help his game any, but just thought makes me feel better :) and it would build team solidarity

Louis Murphy should just smack the shit out of him as soon as he decides to show up!

Pyle was cited before, and I find myself unable to let him be cited without adding my favorite line from Full Metal Jacket:

“Pyle, I’ll bet you’re the kind of scumbag that’d fuck another soldier in the ass, and not even have the common decency to give ’em a reacharound!”

Russell def embodies that spirit that Pyle would allow his entire platoon to do the push-ups for the jelly doughnut. Doesn’t give a flying two shits about his team, or his teammates.

JAFATASS needs to go!!!!!!!

It is well known and discussed. Pile jokes are hilarious (and true) that is the sad part.

Jafatass, Dmac and DHB are part of the reason we are we are. JR is a straight up BUST!
Dmac still has a chance if used right we will see with Hue calling the shots on O ,as for DHB he has raw talent and was a reach I still have faith he will pan out he has a great work ethic as does Mitchell. but we need to stop taking projects with the first round picks.

I’m beating a dead horse hear if don’t take McClain (if there) we will be facing him twice a year. most of all he fills a major hole. If not McClain go for Haden (I was thinking he was a Brown before this weekends activity but now he could be there at 8. Then take Spikes in the 2nd. and aDT in the 3rd ( joseph, troup). we can still get another 3rd (when Morrison leaves) and grab a RT.

The future is uncertain... and the end is always near. JMorrison

This is great!

JaWalrus is Private Pyle:

Are you quitting on me? Well, are you? Then quit, you slimy fucking walrus-looking piece of shit! Get the fuck off of my obstacle! Get the fuck down off of my obstacle! NOW! MOVE IT! Or I’m going to rip your balls off, so you cannot contaminate the rest of the world! I will motivate you, Private Pyle, IF IT SHORT-DICKS EVERY CANNIBAL ON THE CONGO!

Were you born a fat, slimy, scumbag puke piece o’ shit, Private Pyle, or did you have to work on it?
Oh that’s right, Private Pyle, don’t make any fucking effort to get to the top of the fucking obstacle. If God would have wanted you up there he would have miracled your ass up there by now, wouldn’t he?

ugh...

We need to cut this kid as fast as possible. Can we make a run at Mike Vick already? He’s totally Al Davis material, freak athlete that needs a 2nd chance. It worked with Plunkett and Gannon. And please let us not mess up this draft….that’s the demise of this team. You build your team to greatness by drafting well, and that would definitely not be the Raiders drafting history in previous years.

his next blog on Bleachers Report: I bet he’ll argue that JR chose not to show up b/c of the racism of the media.

Honestly, I think he will be gone at the 53 man cutdown and since no cap, no penalty

NO MERCY!

by RAIDERSNOMERCY on Mar 15, 2010 7:21 PM PDT reply actions

yeah, and the extension of this rumor is

that he’s treated for lethargy addiction at a famous Arizona clinic

by Spirals galore on Mar 15, 2010 8:40 PM PDT up reply actions

the truth about the second rumor is that it started as a joke, not factual report

As to the first rumor (that JR is working out and losing weight at Athletes’ Performance) – it was never ever substantiated. On the contrary, this rumor was dissubstantiated by a video of a fatter-than-ever Jamarcus Russell preparing to celebrate his coronation in Mobile, Alabama.

HEY

He must of had some errands to run it is voultary. This Comment is brought to you by" The No Hussell on Giving up on Jamarcus Russell" foundation. Naw fuck it bring in Bruce.

What’s really sad about this is the fact that literally none of us are in the least bit shocked to hear it. The sooner this piece of shit is in our rear view mirror, the better.

what i think...

He either gets his shit together and atleast earn the money he already got…or why get raider with his ass, thats what i think.

Silence is golden

I have so noticed that the “dubious” 2 major jock supporters of JaMightAsWellEat have nothing to say or any defense to this shameless lamo, bust of all time.
I have no surprise in hearing this news, I go away on vacay for a few days and all hell breaks loose here!

Win at all costs! Winning ugly is still winning! Remember the past and what got us to the top before. Jim Plunkett and winning ugly......enough said!
