Bruce G and Charlie Frye return for another season
So, it appears we will have the same 3 QB's on the payroll this year as we did last. It is inevitable that JaFlopus will return, much to most of our dismay. BRUCE G signed his second round tender, even though he has already been at the facility for weeks working out and working with the receivers (specifically Darrius Heyward Bey). Bruce G's tender signing gives him a paycheck of 1.759 million for the next season. Charlie Frye has also resigned for 1.226 million for next season. I do not need to speak on JaMumbles contract numbers, as they haunt every one of us on a daily basis.
Bruce and Charlie both played well last year behind an anemic line and dealt with absolutely horrible play calling, but some how put together impressive perfomances. I am glad to see them return for another year here in Oakland. I just wish we could get a worth while third QB option in the mix. I am exited about a "true" open competition between these three, and remain very positive that BRUCE G will win out and emerge as the leader of our OAKLAND RAIDERS.

Bruce all the way!
JaMarcus did not appear t lose much weight at all like the media said. Even when the csn girl was trying to say that his face looked slimmer, which was total bs, she said that she said that from a distance while JaMarcus was walking, that he looked rather large. If he really lost weight, then wouldn’t his head look more like this.

Maybe his head is just big and his body is slimmer.
Hold on:
A recent article has his weight loss leaving players surprised. I quote,
“Several players said Russell appears to be in much better shape than he was last season, when Russell’s playing weight was listed at 260 pounds.”.
So, Don’t be quick to judge until we ALL get to see him for ourselves.

It seems pretty clear that JaMarcus grew up his whole life thinking that once he made it to the NFL
everything would be gravy where clearly to succeed, the NFL is where the real hard work really starts.
He looks like an entirely different human being in this photo and even when you see video from college.
"Mel Kiper has his opinion and I respect it. But what does it mean? My 9-year-old nephew can watch film and make an opinion. I think I value the opinion of scouts who get paid to make their opinions. It will carry me through my career. It will serve as motivation for me." - Mike Mitchell

The reports about players "surprised" at JR
There was one twitter, from Ekejiuba, saying that he looks great, which doesn’t say much (“he looks great b/c he’s not put on much more weight”). The media combined it with Willie Brown’s statements that we’d be surprised to see a transformed JR – and we got “suprised by his loss of weight.” The Raiders meanwhile announced that he will not be available to the media until minicamp – apparently hoping that by that time they’d make him lose weight. But the CSN reporter improvised and got a video of him fat. The reports about his improved throwing skills were also bs, because they had only weight training and conditioning yesterday.

Maybe we'll get to the "truth" while grocery shopping in the check-out line ... there will be Russell next to Kirstie Alley
or some other ballooned-out celebrity. JRs now on the paparazzi radar and the Raiders are in the news for all the wrong reasons

BUT...
.. for a guy that was 260lbs, it’s very tough to loose weight, and will take more than a couple months to get into shape.
Bruce ain't Joe Montana. but
this team was fun to watch with him at the helm last year.
The whole team played better when he took the snap.
I wish this guy the very best!!!
Do whatever you want with the girl, but leave ME alone!!!!!--G CARLIN
