NFL Draft Party: First Round Set: AT&T Park in SF
One of my close friends runs the new sports bar that is opening at AT&T Park. As luck would have it, there is NO Giants game that day, so we will have the First Round Party in SF.
That leaves the next two days up in the air. I am open to suggestions and I am sure that Ricky's will be the choice for one of the two days and then maybe San Jose for the other day.
Thoughts?
Remember this is now a 3 day event that starts with the first round on Thursday Evening (Prime Time), the next two rounds on Friday and the final 4 rounds on Saturday.

We're down for day 1 ... then ... if things go great -or even neutral- we'll join all of you at Ricky's Saturday night!
Seems as though Saturday will be our day...
if it’s anything like our last picks. We’re loaded with late rounders, and this draft is chock full of difference making guys, including lots of juniors. Not sure I’ll be able to make the bay area for draft day, but I will be with my Raider brethren in spirit!
I may need Friday to recover from the bender I’ll be on Thursday! lol. Let us be wrong about our predictions (yeah right!).
I’m finding it harder to be delusional about the state of this team. Should I be worried about my Raider fanhood, considering that it’s what we do best?

If you can make it - we'll party together as though Suh was coming to town!
Did you hear Joe Haden’s interview when he was asked which teams were interested in him? He said, mainly 3 were and named Oakland. So get ready for CB day 1. Maybe Al wants Joe so bad he feigned confidence in Routt to throw off interlopers.

Yes. I've heard multiple corners talk of interviews with teams, and their visit in Oakland stood out enough to garner some extra attention
I feel as though you are correct, but Cleveland has Haden in their sights. I kinda like Kyle Wilson more in ways, anyway. Upside in corners has seemed to work out for us, no?

Al's decent at picking DBs - his forte' ... maybe we should pick a DB every single round and then trade them
off leisurely to teams with players that can fill our positions of need

Yeah
That would be great but I doubt we would get more than thigh pads and practice balls for some of the picks because of the recent history of lopsided trades not going our way.

then we'd perform the experiment that Al's been angling at for some time - field a D of all Safety types
eleven Taylor Mays v every offense

Like Bear hunting, with a BB gun?
Marlin fishing with ultralight tackle and 8 pound test?
Great for a thrill, but well-advised? Not for the faint at heart; that’s for sure.

I am so jealous
I wish I could really go. One day I will get my wish and feel the energy from the stadium of the team for which I have never left or turned my back on. Have a drink and I will do the same as you at the time of the draft, praying and posting while it all transpires.
