Breaking AFC West News: DT Jamal Williams Is Now a Denver Bronco!!!

Adam Schefter reported this one for ESPN.

Former San Diego Charger DT Jamal Williams has signed with the Denver Broncos. It is a good thing for all of us that he is 34 years old and that his best seasons are "Hopefully" (Saint Crosses HIs Fingers) behind him. If he is still capable of dominating the middle front of the Line of scrimmage then those young linebackers are going to have a field day.

In other news, the Oakland Raiders watched the paint dry in their Halls of Fame in Alameda!

It's better to watch the paint dry at the Alameda complex

since it wouldn’t work too well to watch the grass grow as they use field turf on the practice field.

No LT, AC or JW? The Chargers look like the big losers, so far, this off-season.

i think they are doing alright

the first step to recovery would be cutting out the cancers. they have cut alot of useless salaries and i think they are on the right track. I would rather they not sign a bunch of garbage FA’s that will be cut after a season or two. I think they need to make a splash at the draft. They have a chance to really get a good start to the season.
That being said, i still feel that they should cut JR. He is useless and has no drive to succeed. He hasn’t learned that football at this level is not a given. he had been athletically talented enough to succeed at every other lever without working. He cant do that at this level and doesnt believe he needs that much work. Nothing is his fault. CUT HIM.
I think the Raiders should consider adding Anderson to the roster. he has a big arm and was a pro bowler at one point. I think he would be a better back up QB than Russel.

I'd rather have Anderson

than JaCarcass and it would probably save about $9 million.
What we need on this team are football players not sprinters, guys with heart and drive not spoiled primadonnas who think they are entitled to make millions of dollars and put out minimal effort. It all starts at QB and JaMinkass is the guy not to have

Gotta pass it back to D Bruce: I think he coined it first:

But I must say that I like the JaCarcass name.

Understandable
Blechk… cheifs are NOT as excited about this lol…

Jamaal Charles had a great season after taking over for Larry Johnson. Charles won’t be getting the carries with this signing.

you forget

the jets run a RBBC with Washington and Greene. Charles will be getting carries. Jones doesn’t carry the load by himself. He will get hurt again.

They are doing what we did last off-seaon...

…bring in some vet FA to man the lines and help the young guys. Except unlike us they are signing DEs AND DTs.

For the most part our off-season moves have been sane ..

That being said, it’s still early. I liked Williams .. But he’s on the downside of his career and I believe that it’s all but over. Even if we would have picked him up, I believe it would be very much like Ellis .. Good production and leadership, but would be released within a year and I think we need someone who will be consistent for years to come.

I agree with 5150

I prefer to hear us cutting guys who were getting paid millions & contributing jack to the team than another signing like Javon Walker signs with the Raiders for 6 years worth $55 mil & $14 guaranteed. Oh crap, think I just threw up in my mouth a little…
