Randy Hanson v. Oakland Raiders/Cable - round 3

4

The Oakland Raiders have requested that Randy Hanson's lawsuit against the organization be moved into arbitration due to language in the standard NFL coaching contract that states that all disputes are subject to binding arbitration presided over by the commissioner of the NFL. Mike Florio's analysis on pft.com provides his unique insight as a former attorney: bq. To avoid the contractual commitment made by Hanson when he accepted his job, McGuinn will be required to argue that some aspect of California law overrides the duty to arbitrate as applied to one or more of the specific theories Hanson has alleged. It will be a tall order.
