What IF?

What IF?

What if the A's, Raiders and Warriors ALL made the playoffs next year?

The focus of the USA Sports Conglomerate would be on the East Bay. The Left Coast, in particular, THE EAST BAY AREA, would be back in the mainstream vain of society (It has been common for the past 50 years), continuing to bring a rhythm and VERVE to a region. We ARE Oakland.

This dream of mine, which has not happened in my "Fantime" (A Definition of Fandom in Comparison to Life-Birth-Date), is my "WHAT IF?",

What is Yours?

Since 2003, the Raiders have made the playoffs zero times. Since 2003, the Warriors have made the playoffs once. Since 2003, the A’s have made the playoffs twice despite a winning record from 2003-2006. With that said, all three teams making the playoffs next year would be so far beyond awesome. I think the A’s have the best chance of doing that. With the Warriors playing in the conference they play in, I say that they have the worst chance to do that. I am a huge fan of all three teams and I think the future is bright for all three franchises. I just don’t know how quickly they can be turned around with the A’s and Warriors incredibly young and the Raiders still very much so a work in progress.

Lookin At Our Schedule We Could Go As High As 11-5

It all starts against the Titans if we can slow down the run and the “O” can score enough to take them out of their strength which is their run game….We should win that game…

The Lambs are ours for the slaughter…

“AZ” has “QB” issues and we could take that one but I say we get our 1st loss…

The next 6 games are all winnable….Texans-Chargers-Niners-Donkeys-SeaChickens-n-Squaws…

Bye week @ 8-2 at best…..

Pits-n-Miami will not be easy for I say we get 2 losses out of the bye….

We take the Chargers twice for the 1st time in forever…

Jags give us a loss…

We slap the Donko’s with again 2 in a season….

Indy knocks us off….

We now beat the Squaws twice also…

So this is our best record possible as I see it and a 6-0 record in the West @ 11-5 and a play-off birth…

Loss to the Chargers n 10-6 gets us the “WC” at 5-1 in the West…

Too much high expectations

we are still a rebuilding team and you have to realize that. Be realistic, I say a 7-9 season or 8-8 but im sure in a couple of years we can possibly contend for the AFC West and possibly the whole AFC!! We have a good squad and its the best since the superbowl in 02 or whatever that year was. The Raiders days as being the laughingstock of the league are pretty over.

Any Given Sunday

I totally disagree…If you look at that schedule several other teams are also in transition…

Indy is the only solid opponent…Az is in transition at the “QB” position and others as is Pitts w problems again related to Big Ben as a 3rd place team….Chargers are searching for a run game and a run “D”…Jags are trying to build a secondary and “DL”…Miami is good but teetering n not solid as a third place team…The rest of the NFC West and AFC West are all weak teams trying to improve and have serious problems to overcome….Houston n tenn are trying to build but have deficiencies…

Uh...

The A’s have a pretty damn good shot at making the playoffs THIS year. So, I suggest we just focus on that. lol.

Slappin' your troubles away since 2009.

my wish list

LeBron finally gets that NBA Finals trophy he deserves
Jason Campbell Comes in and reignites the offense
The Raiders finally beat the Chargers
Oakland wins the division
Tom Cable comes back in 2010 after the Raiders first playoff appearance since 2002

Don't Trade Nnamdi Idiots!!!
Bring Back Bruce!!!

What if JaMarcus re-signs with the 2010 Oakland Raiders

for the veteran league minimum and is the back-up to Campbell?

What if DHB actaully has a 200 yd receiving game?

What if Darren McFadden has a 2,000 yrd rushing season?

I Had Those Thoughts Also About "JeFat"

Set him lose to go out and shop himself for a better offer and see if he wants to re-sign for what’s on the table….If not we go after a refund and hold up his $3mil….

What IF Dallas Braden Throws a Perfect Game?

Dallas Braden is going to be in contention for the AL Cy Young.

He’s pitching pretty well this season and today proved he can do it against the best.

by JaKe. on May 10, 2010 3:34 AM PDT up reply actions

Take out his one bad start in St. Petersburg against the Rays, Braden is 4-1 with a 2.35 ERA and 0.78 WHIP.

Wow.

LOL. I love Dallas Braden, but that is total bull phooey. He will be nowhere near the Cy Young.

'Like' my band. I mean, it'd be awesome if you did that.

by slapchop on May 10, 2010 9:51 AM PDT up reply actions

Eh, it’s still early. I think he has an outside chance of finishing inside the top five.

I'm not basing my prediction off stats or anyhting, it's moslty a gut feeling.

So yeah, you can call “bull phooey” haha But when I’m right, you’ll call me a genius! (Evil Laugh)

Isn’t that the guy feuding with A-Rod? Come on, he basically sucks.

The Tide is turning in Oakland:

Braden just put himself and the 2010 A’s on the National Map by throwing a perfecto.

The Raiders got rid of their cancer, J-Bust.

The Warrior cancer, Chris Cohan, is threatening to remove himself.

This could happen!!!

Or...what if

The Sharks continue on and win the Stanley Cup on the same day it’s announced that the A’s will finally move to San Jose, and the 49ers stadium in Santa Clara is voted down ;-)
