What’s up with the front page fonts? I posted something about a week ago and it messed up the fonts like this. I copy and pasted it, deleted and re-posted it and they went back to normal. I am a computerly challenged though.

Are these fair weather September face painters just waiting until whale watching season is over to show that they bleed Charger “Powder” Blue?

We must prevail and dominate the left coast (StD, Whiners, Seachickens), at the very least.

It is the off season, and you really can’t expect them all to bust out their flags and stickers that are packed up in a box somewhere in their garage can you? Haha. I live in Oceanside and drive down to my job in San Diego Monday thru Friday, 76 miles round trip. I see a little cute bolt here, now and again .. It’s usually a different color, like red or pink to match the persons car or personality .. True San Diego fans are few and far between. Most of these guys just go with it when they’re winning. I can tell you though from living here my whole life and going to games, that there are just as many Raider fans, if not more down here as there are Charger fans. This is an organization, that made you buy tickets to (I believe, I was young at the time) two or three other home games for the Chargers if you wanted to buy Raider tickets. San Diego teams are a joke ..

A quick, funny story though ..In my truck I drive to work, I have Raider stickers and a flag flying on my passenger side. I was getting onto the freeway, and I drive pretty fast (about 90 mph, it’s a long way home) .. I see this white Suburban right behind me, speeding up .. He finally catches up, and starts honking his horn and waving his hands up in the air. He flashes me a 1 and then a 2 on his left hand and then points to himself (Leave it to a Charger “fan” to mess up how many times in a row they have beaten the Raiders) .. Then points to me ands makes a zero with his hand. Well, not missing a beat, I hold up three fingers and point to myself and then hold up a zero and point to him .. I smile and nod as he sits there dumbfounded until he finally gets it and proceeds to flip me off .. Have a nice day, sir ..

Twenty years from now, Grandpa Charger fan will be telling grandson Little Billy about ALL the AFC West titles the Chargers won in the 2000’s and how LT could just jump cut through the hole. When Little Billy asked him how many Superbowls did they win, Grandpa Charge fan will change the subject to the Padres…

I attended many a game at the coliseum, and miss the opportunity it gave me to do so when they were here, but my loyalty remains with the Oakland Raiders, the embodiment of a true, blue collar football team.

Really, do you want a vacation beach locale like SD for your football team? I admit, it’s a great place to vacation, surf and fish, but for football? It’s no wonder the fans are nothing but fair weather bandwaggoners. I’ll take Oakland over any city, any day of the week.

if the ALLEGED nation(more like a village) loves your team so much, then how come none of the home games are televised? just asking….

RSM – You must be wearing your patches over BOTH eyes! We do allow Raiders flags, it’s a mercy thing ;)
As for references to crying QBs??? Rivers is the most stand-up QB around.

As for you Giants pantywaists, I love the expression on Eli’s face as things start going wrong. So glad we got Rivers!!!
