Camp Competition

This is the first camp in a long while where I actually think we have some real competition brewing for many spots.

Obviously I think we all hope someone can overtake Stanford Routt and ya have to wonder if Jay Richardson is going to make it with all the DE/DT additions.

The fresh blood on the O-Line will also be nice to watch unfold. Although after listening to Bruce Campbell he may be dumb as rocks.

What's in store for Slade Norris, Does Sam William finally get taken off Scholarship, and after a stellar year two years ago is Johnny Lee gonna make it through camp with the addition of Jacoby Ford

In the old days intellectual ability wasn't necessary to play football. The game as it is today requires more intelligence. If a person sounds dumb they are dumb.

Put Lester Hayes in today’s NFL and he would suck!!!! naw i’m kidding!! But! In the old days there wasn’t much scheming just “dirty” tackles, face masks, chop blocks, horse-collar take downs (when you have been beaten with speed)… you name it, it was allowed back then and that’s how some guys made a living to stardom. This may come off as dissing the old timers but it’s the truth, the game has evolved, now there are more rules that make you think. If I am wrong (as I am not an old timer) please elaborate on why some old legends would thrive in todays NFL. (I will admit i am clueless on whether those illegal plays of today were allowed back then…. hehe)

good point haha

and i also think that he is gonna be a solid player if you listen to his interviews you really can tell he is a savage on the feild.

The interviewer asked a series of mind numbingly dumb questions. BCampbell is a decent kid with amazing gifts

I’m wondering if Carlisle will see many snaps or emerge from TC with a job

I haven't brought up this A-hole since his release because of fear of karma rubbing off on me but wanted to be the first to bring up Russell in the UFL.

I just wanted to gloat after he was too good to try out for any AFL or UFL teams until after his recent arrest. He finally realizes he has no future in the pro game. I was surprised to see Chike Okeafor who is a solid pass-rusher throughout his career as well as reading Ronald Curry and Justin Fargas on that team as well. Both seemed like they still had some game left.

If my mother put on a helmet and shoulder pads and a uniform that wasn't the same as the one I was wearing, I'd run over her if she was in my way. And I love my mother.

What team?

Not to sound dumb, but what team are you talking about? What is Justin doing now?

The Omaha Nighthawks have JaMarcus Russell, Andrew Walter, Justin Fargas, Ronald Curry, and Stuart Shweigert. They’re like a miniature version of the Raiders. Hell, they even have the same colors.

The Omaha team owns the draft

the players haven’t signed. Propaganda to get a name going. Also, we’re looking for football player, don’t let “how they sound” confuse you with football smart. Bradshaw did win several SB as the alledged dumbest player ever from Louisiana. Everybody thought that Rothlinraper was the smartest qb…You’re looking for footbal IQ, not rocket science. Multiple plays, multiple options, anticipation.

precisely

Bradshaw isn’t the dumbass that he is so often portrayed as, dumbasses don’t generally succeed after their careers like he has managed to do.
