If I ever did make a bucket list, this would have to be one of the jobs that I'd like to have had...for a season.
They want tailgate action, Monday Morning Breakdowns, and it's Live 105!
I was raised on Live 105 from 12-21. I experienced the change from KITS to Live 105. In fact, the first time that I spoke on the radio was when I called in to request, "Always Something There To Remind Me" on KITS,
This is the kind of role that could be expanded into Live 105 Sports Guy or Gal.
Unfortunately, I have about 7 million other things on my non-bucket list, so I will not be applying, but, I figured that I'd pass it along because I believe that the Live 105 sports person may be in our midst.
The No Name Show is looking for THE CHOSEN ONE. The Chosen One will score tickets to all the Raiders Home Games and will be the No Name Show go-to person for Monday morning reports on the game and crazy parking lot tailgate craziness!

But I live in San Diego .. And have another boy on the way in October. Trying to get his mom to let me put Raider for his middle name. Waiting to see if she allows me to do so, haha ..

I loved when Rex, Vinnie and Dimebag came together with Coe for Rebel Meets Rebel ..Not quite sure of the name Furious, and if I would name one of my kids that .. But to each his own. I don’t think it’s bad .. And with half the shit people come out with these days, it certainly isn’t the craziest thing I’ve seen or head of. If I was going to go for an uncommon name, I’d just rather make it my kids’ middle name.

Wasn’t one of the ridiculous reasons Live 105 got rid of the Woody Show because they had Ravey doing sports which “didn’t match the station”? Oh well, I guess that’s the type of stuff that makes them Live 105. I just figured they wouldn’t want anything getting in the way of constantly spinning Nirvana and Sublime like it’s still the mid-90’s.
Fuck Armageddon, this is hell.

Nirvana is fine. But do they really need to spin it every hour? It’s been 18 years since Nevermind, and they still haven’t gotten over it. It was a good album, not their best. Just a good album. They just play it and seem to revere it so damn much. Oh well, I suppose the solution to that problem is not to listen to Live 105.
Sublime, however, is god awful. Just horrible.

I listen to plenty of Ska. But I wouldn’t really put Sublime under the Ska genre. They kinda of started their own genre. What other bands are you into?

How can you listen to SKA and be a Raider fan. And if anyone spent more than a month learning guitar, you would happen across all of Nirvana’s song by chance of learning 3 chords. Human civilization boggles my mind sometimes, then someone or something else reminds me of how bland life is. If he didn’t die and kept making music, 60-80% of all fans (of all artist in this similar boat) would never be on that boat. ShaaahEEEPPPP!!
Watch some Raider youtube vids and blast “paint the sun black” by mercury arc or something.
You need to get pumped the hell up about the Raider’s. Controlled aggression is best. Twangy surfer music is for the ppl across the bay.

You’re putting people in a box, bro. You saying that all Raider fans have to listen to a certain genre or else they aren’t Raider fans is like saying only black people listen to rap. It’s just not right. I listen to any kind of music that I like. Which happens to be just about all music..Except country. Can’t really dig it.
