Around SBN: The Worst Team Ever Projected?

LaMarr has landed. I have not seen terms of the deal. Welcome aboard LaMarr. Hopefully Ro is soon to follow. Props to georgeakaFROSTY for first posting this tasty info.

*Update: It is reported here that he is signed for four years.

Sweet. Four year deal and four Pro Bowl appearances.

The only true wisdom consists in knowing that you know nothing.

sounds good to me

"We want to win. The Raider fans deserve it. The Raider players deserve it, even my organization deserves it. You have to win and you have to win with a vision for the Super Bowl. That's our passion here." - Al Davis

"You know Michael Jackson told me to Beat it and I did when I heard the Raiders drafted McClain." - noontide

4 Seems Too Short....

If he produces as expected we will find ourselves in a contact battle while in his early prime…6 would be a more favorable # to me….5 years from now the veteran contracts may be inflated clear out of sight and unaffordable…

Report of length of signing is unconfirmed by the Raiders

The contract terms are only cited by Fantasysports.com and the contract length may well be only 4 years. Full understanding of the terms of the contract will only be known when the Raiders or Houston disclose them. My guess would be that there would at least be 2 option years attached to that 4 year base contract, one team and one player option.

Your team is your child...You love it no matter what.

Sounds Logical...The short 4 year deal does not...

Reportedly McClain is sitting on a 8 year deal….Now that one sounds interesting….It might look like allot of money now but will look like a bargain in the years to come…If it happens that way….

I'd like to have him locked up for

longer than 4 years, but it gives him time to develop, and we can extend him if he plays better than we hope. Remember, though we’re all high on this kid right now, he hasn’t played a single down in the NFL. He wouldn’t be the first DL to look like Tarzan but play like Jane.

I think it's a good deal.

maybe after the first two years, we can talk about extensions.

Seymour, Kelly, Henderson, Houston
      Wimbley(or scott), McClain, Howard

I'm also a Raider Fan dammit!!! RAIDER NATION!!!!

Down with Big Brother!
