Final Preseason game

Raiders Vs. Seahawks

Star-divide

Ok I can only start that all my bets from last season are on again with all of these Pacific North West guys I work with. I have been to all the Raider games that hit Qwest in the last few years as well as that ill fated Romo performance. I want to hear what you expect to see and predictions for the final score. Come on Sons-of-Blanda  I'm counting on some critical insights from you and the rest your crew.

 Anyone going to the game?

Go Raiders and I hope they crush the F'n SeaChickens!

Seattle's tough. They are SFs only real competition in the NFC West. Their D is solid and their O depends on Hasselbeek

who will probably not play much. So, if you want to approach this scrimmage as a real game – which is commendable – we must pressure the QB as we did with Cutler in Chicago. I’m going to the game and will see many play who are ill-fated come Monday. I’m curious to see how we adjust to losing Bush and how much better we set up on D and tackle. I would like to see how Mario protects Grad and how Brennan does.

this will be

the best chance to see who will win between bennett and cartwright…
i say we move cartwright to FB with all the problems weve had there

Agreed

I think we should keep both Bennett and Cartwright for extra backup and precation. Reece can play TE if needed in certain formations, such as double TE or three TE sets. I’m sure Cable and Hue ‘Action’ Jackson will choose the best personnel to give us a chance to win. I really like the attitude and demeanor that’s ‘buzzin’ around Raider Nation…

I'm down with Bennett and on the fence with Cartwright - we'll see tonight if he distinguishes himself

… but even if he doesn’t he’ll probably remain due to our physical challenges at RB.

Wish I could go

Workin 2 jobs and going to school’s kinda stoppin me from doing so. Might hit Flaming Joe’s in SpoValley if I got the time, seeing as how its the unofficial home of the Raiders here. (15% off your tab if you wear the teams apparel, nice!)

Thanks

Yes I too am very concerned how we will adjust to Bush. Interesting to see how Darren McFadden handles the change as well. Is he recovered from hamstring enough to pull the load for 4 quarters? Not as concerned with Seattle O and I am with how we will handle their Def. If we can get to their QB like we did in Chicago I would be very comfortable with our guys play. Well enjoy the game and Go RAIDERS!

disagree

Grad plays and our second and third team have been coming through this preseason, defensively we have good depth….we should come out ontop

+1

if this game was won by the quality of our depth instead of starters, wed be practically undefeated haha

I'm going to the game!!!

I will be keeping an eye on Huff, Stevie Brown, and Mike Mitchell on the defense.
Offensively I will be looking for #4 Colt Brennan.

I have no clue what to say about tomorrow's game

I HOPE to see execution on offense, and reading and reacting correctly on defense. I want to see our starters demonstrate a degree of dominance when on the field, but the inconsistency and substitution of players has me questioning what we’ll actually see.

Hasselbeck is a seasoned professional when completely healthy, and Seattle is tough offensively when they put it all together, but it’s been a long time since we’ve seen all those factors in place.

Oh, and my tix for the game aren't selling!

As much as I’d love to go to the game, my bank account is still recovering from my recent wedding, and I’m trying to sell tix to save for the first one I can attend and it’s 350 miles away! The tix to the San Fran game sold in a matter of minutes on NFL ticket exchange. These… well, they’re another story altogether.

Anyone want to go? I can email my barcoded season tix to whoever replies!

Guess I waited too long to donate them to charity. Lemme know! I wish I could go, but I’ll be there in season!

Much appreciated, Sons. We'll be travelling to Oakland sooner than later

Looks like I’m shooting for the Houston and/or SD games, and can’t wait. It was awesome to meet you and Spirals, and it will be even better to take in a game together! Until then, I’ll look forward to your personal report with the binoculars, and I needn’t question where your focus will be, and your keen eye for line play! Bring us home a victory.

Looking forward to meeting Saint, and whomever else I can from the best site around.

Seattle is thin, thin, thin at Tackle right now.

They just had to sign one of Detroit’s cast-offs. Hopefully whoever is rushing the passer for the Raiders can exploit this.

You never know how teams are going to approach the 4th game of the preseason, but I imagine the Raiders want to get a good look at Groves and Cooper, so maybe look at them to get to the QB.

Also, the Chickens look to have a weak defensive front, which means our weak offensive line shouldn’t be as much as a weakness in this match-up.

On the filp side, I am positive Carrol wants Chuckin’ Charlie to look good. So that may mean he puts him in a position to succeed and has the Chickens playin’ a little more real football for a few series.

When all else fails, do as I am doing right now and taunt your Chicken friends about the Josh Wilson trade!

Thought is cheap.
