Cable on Jason
I think he just kind of represented our whole football team, just really not able to turn it loose and play. A little too cautious for all of us, and that’s just unfortunate, especially in your opener, because you really thought you’d go down there and make a statement, and we didn’t do that.
There were contradictions in Cable’s statements – on the one hand, he dismissed Groves’ statement about nervousness as something a veteran should not say. On the other hand, he said that the team should relax for this week’s game.
Sounds weak

He can't 'state the facts'
First, I don’t know that he really knows them; he has defended this line for some time as being sufficient, that the personnel is enough to win with. I have my doubts about whether he can actually see.
Second, even if he can see the deficiencies, he can’t exactly talk about them; how many coaches do that, and still have a job the next week?
He is dancing because he either has to or because he really doesn’t believe that the line was much of a problem. I have my own opinion, but we’ll see what happens the rest of the month…
