campbell wouldn't have made any risks.
arguably those completions grad made under pressure, campbell would not have attempted most of them, and probably would have been sacked.
I noticed grad has better “footwork” in the pocket than camppbell.

There were two dropped picks that I remember and 4 overthrows on open recievers. Also JC is better when is comes to running out of the pocket

Throwing under pressure though? not as good at all. in fact, I think he would have throw three ints this game, and get sacked several times because he doesn’t exactly have as good footwork as grad.
brady made a few overthrows against the bills, and that was without pressure. it happens.
JC checks down a lot, and would have done worse, imo. especially since he already stunk against the secondary of the TITANS and RAMS.

Forget them, many will do this, especially the ones that wanted JC to be given more time.

Considering the the quality of O-line play !!! But he showed today why he’s only a 50% completion QB !!! As much as you might like Grads over Campbell, Campbell is still better, when it comes to fundamentals!!! Play Calling lost this game, JUST AS MUCH as JANO did !!!
pretty much done with this year. That was the easiest two game stretch we could ask for to build some kind of momentum

Hate da playas. It is what it is. It has been proven many times over that Gradkowski is not a good starting QB. What did he do in Tampa Bay? What did he do for us last year? The answer is Jack!! After every big win we have, we always lose the next game no matter where we are playing, who we are playing. I have been a Raider fan for over 35 years but I am not a blind fan potnas!!!

point is, you truly don’t know how good a QB is until they started more than two games in the nfl(grad started in two games last year, and he helped us win both games).
Campbell has started full seasons twice, and at the moment, Grad outplayed Campbell in the rams game, and the pre-season games.
If campbell started this game, I can pretty much guarantee you that it will JUST be like the titans and rams games for him:
Sacks, and incompletions. in other words. Not very much success.

Stats don’t lie. How many seasons has Gradkowski started since he has been in the league compared to Campbell? Gradkowski did not play behind the same offensive line as Campbell in preseason and when he came in for the 2nd half of the Rams game.

I’m sorry, but I here’s the way I see it:
JC played behind our OL in the tennessee game… he sucked.
JC played behind THAT SAME OL during the 1st half of the rams game and… HE STILL SUCKED
Grad played behind THE SAME OL in the 2nd half of the rams game, AND LIT THE PLACE UP!!!
So I fail to see why you would say they did not play behind the same OL. They did, and Grad played better behind it then Campbell. If campbell started today, he would have been eaten alive, because I saw MANY times grad making completion of his back foot, and on the run. Campbell, like the past two games, would have taken the sacks, thrown them away, or throw an incompletion judging from how he played the last couple games.

They made some personnel changes on that line when he started the 2nd half and yep he won 2 games last year but he didn’t do anything against Dallas on Thanksgiving Day and the game he got hurt that put him out for the rest of the season. If he was all that good, they would have named him the starter before the draft and never traded for Jason Campbell would they?. He is not consistent and not durable. A hit away from being done again. Let’s just hope whomever is the QB next game will be able to get a win for us. If Gradkowski does not produce, then give Boller a shot. He had a better preseason then the both of them although he never played behind the same offensive line.

well… they wanted to give jamarcus another starting year to see what he can do first of all(Al davis is the reason probably).
and second of al, THE ONLY REASON they traded for campbell, was because Grad INJURED his calf muscle(or something around that idea), two days before the draft. That’s really it. And Grad beat him out in the second week into the season.

Campbell's QB rating last week was 42.9 and Gradkowski's was 70.6
Today, Gradkowski’s QB rating was 72.5 and Anderson’s was 69.7
But if your own eyes don’t tell you what type of QB is needed with this offense then I doubt stats would convince you.

Jano, has been money in the bank, since he’s been here, but his ball has been having some funny azz action/movement this year. Ist miss ok, he’s human, but after that 2nd miss, you have to wonder, WTF !!! Considering the penalty and field position, there’s no fucken way I’m going to leave the game in his hands!!! Run play action on 1st down, Bush on 2nd and 3rd downs, if necessary !!!!! Grads missed on some plays, and was looking for Miller (staring him down actually) to damn much on 3rd downs !!! Play calling was questionable on both side of the ball. How in the fuck u go zone on the goal line with a player like Fitzgerald can run free !!!! That was just plain STUPID !!!! oh, and speaking of STUPID…..MARIO(DUMB AS A NEANDERTHAL) HENDERSON !!! And plz tell me as strong as he’s suppose to be, why does Tommy Kelly always seem to be blown 5 yards back on crucial plays !!!!! Very dissapointed !!!! Play calling, too DAMN predictable !!! I'm not giving up just because we're 1-2
We have 13 games left, and the division is even besides Kansas City, who I don’t think will be riding high for much longer. They beat 3 sub par defenses, or at least they have been sub par this season. We have a winnable game against the Texans at home next week, so don’t get too sad. We beat them last time they were at our place, and it will probably be a similar battle as today, and they are susceptible to giving up big plays. Slow Roy Williams went off on them, so I think we can do some damage in the air, and we know what DMC can do. Todays game was a bummer, but I think Jano will bounce back and play well next week, so it should be a good one. Keep the faith Raider Nation.

My ass; since Texans’ starting LT was suspended, the back-up, Brown, gave up 3 sacks to Demarcus Ware of the Cowboys. Juicy weak link, lets put Seymour at DE to exploit him or Houston. He is an LB/DE mostly lines up over the LT, although I didn’t see the game…
