Breaking News: Raiderdamus Is Breaking Vegas

Today was rough. I'll deal with that later. Let me just say: There's two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Polish.

Now, onto more important things. Anyone who didn't bet on the fortune telling of the great one, blew it. In case you missed it, Raiderdamus nailed the score. Remember, he only sees the future, he doesn't control it. It is a heavy burden. One we should all start to profit from.

And unless I missed it, everyone of us normal people, picked the Raiders. So, Damus Jr. aka TAW, will retain his post. It is more than just default. Damus Jr. had predicted a one-point game as well.

CUT JANIKOWSKI;HENDERSON AND DHB

Janikowski,Henderson,Heyward Beyand the refs work for Vegas. As a polish raider fan i have to say cut janikowski.inexcusable.heyward bey plays like a tyrano saurus rex.dude is fast but cant get open and wouldnt catch a ball if his life depended on it.that is what mr davis wants.fast, dumb people?
and to anyone who says bruce was off, DHB had atlest 6 drops.he and henderson cost us the game at the beginning and janikowski killed us later.unbelievable.bruce would have had over 300 yards with above 60% if not for so many freaking drops.and how in the world do the refs judge pass interference?its a joke, this destroys the game, and im seeing it more and more around the nfl.its becoming like soccer.

Fuck em all. Cut them then piss on their heads and tell them it’s raining. Is it possible to trade for a coach too while were at it? I think the Pop Warner League has a few coaches that have better game plans, execution, are more respected by players, holds their players accountable, gets their players to play with focus (no false starts by the starting O linemen please) and has some semblance of leadership. Fuck I will admit here and now I may have called it wrong with saying “stay the course and keep the Michelin Man in charge”. Now its 9am and I need a drink or a few. Stay tuned I may decide to come back post some more tirades from drunken rage.

When you least expect it there I am waiting below to take you out......if your lucky.

TAW

I don’t think you need bother predicting the Houston game. It’s just gonna be too ugly.

You're all upset right now but I believe you will be surprised come Sunday.

I really think we match up well with Houston better than a lot of you realize.

Vegas tends to agree with you

Early line is HOU -3.5, which is less points than the Raiders got against the cards.

I hope you’re right. I was happy to take the Raiders and points last week as well as the Money Line. But I have to say, I’m far less confident about the game with Houston. Especially after we gifted game 3 away mulitple times.

by TexasRaider20 on Sep 27, 2010 7:23 AM PDT up reply actions

The Raider fan in me doesn't want to take this bet.

But the capper in me says jump on this before the line swings an addition 3 or 4 points.

by TexasRaider20 on Sep 27, 2010 9:09 AM PDT up reply actions

If you're a betting man

Do it. Some in here think it’s just frustration, but really just operating off what we’ve seen. Houston is gonna humiliate us at the Coliseum something ugly. We can still have a half decent season, but Sunday is going to be bad which might just serve as a wake up call for the coaches and Al that they need to make some changes, etc.

by rightnasty on Sep 27, 2010 5:11 PM PDT up reply actions

That would be like saying something positive might come from yet another shellacking?

that, would be almost unprecedented. Even bad teams have a way of exposing you for your weaknesses, which we’ve known far too long; the great teams exploit your weaknesses to the point you don’t appear to possess strengths.

I’d love to think you’re right about Sunday being a harbinger if indeed we lose. I think, strangely enough we do match up fairly well against the offensively explosive Houston Texans, but it’s the shooting ourselves in the foot and not scoring when we should that costs us games, and I have to see that become something we’ve put behind us. It’s clearly not.

TAW, again, I am in awe of your prediction. Getting the absolute score right once and almost the other time.

There’s no way experts can weigh the stupidity factor that undermines this team. I’m very disgusted with our kick-off team, HC, ST coach, WR coach and kicker. I seek a shuffle in coaching. Why we don’t stay with what works and switch to what does not is infuriating. Branch just can’t cover, Henderson can’t pass block, DHB only catches passes when his chest is backing up his hands, and everyone but Hugh knows Grad cannot throw a long ball.

RDreamer, first congratulations and I'm glad you're with the Nation. Now, please tell us whether we must endure Cable

much longer. Will Hugh be elevated to HC till Frazier comes here next year? Will Facile, Jr. be cut this week? Is there a Safety on our team who can cover? Thank you.

RaiderDamus has seen the fate of Tom Cable

In the interest of keeping the team stable, Mr. Davis will keep Tom Cable as coach until the season is over. After that things get fuzzy. The Raiders nearly won yesterday’s game, and the loss is NOT Cable’s fault. Al knows that.

If we fire him mid-season it does us no good.

It’s like asking to suck even more and get blown-out a lot these upcoming games.
The players believe in this shit, plus the continuity/stability, they are still undisciplined (Jano hungover from Saturday drinking, and many flags) but it’s better than last year. Promoting Hue? For what, the same playcalling? What will promoting Hue change? We’ll be fine.

All I know is that the same stupidity is continuing as we witnessed last year and only guys like

Wimbley, Groves, McClain, Shaughnessy, Seymour, Henderson and Asomugha are not making weekly dumb plays on defense. And only guys like McFadden, Reece, Miller, Murphy, Loper, and Gradkowski are not making repeatedly stupid mistakes on offense. So, if the culture is determined by the HC, then I don’t see the marginal and inconsistent players – some of whom are amazingly good athletes – changing because the scout leader isn’t going to make them change.

Heh heh

I think you might have asked the wrong question. Maybe it should have been, “Will we be getting a real coach anytime soon, or will it be a constant stream of re-treads, failures, wannabees and usedtobees?”

by rightnasty on Sep 27, 2010 6:29 PM PDT up reply actions

In that case

Yes, until Al dies. Sadly, no decent independent thinking coach with a good system wants to work for Al, who will just do things his way anyhow.

Remember even with all the Raiders’ mistakes Sunday, they lost the game on a fluky missed FG. Ask the Saints how that feels, it happened to them earlier in the day.

Pride be damned

Green Bay should have let the Bears score with two minutes left and two timeouts, and then tried to tie it. Playing it like they did is basically begging the Bears to kick a FG with ten seconds left, and that’s exactly what happened.

I think they had the Oakland and New Orleans games in mind by trying to hold Chicago.

Raiderdamus ...

I bow to the great wisdom of of the Wizard of Raiders’ Future … because I definitely saw a win being the result of yesterday’s game, and thought it would be by 7 or more. Maybe with the 3 missed FG’s it could’ve been and would’ve been, but it is Raiderdamus’ ability to see those intangibles and objectively predict the game(s) which places him above the rest. The road does not get easier anytime soon, but firmly believe this team can beat any other in any upcoming game … just a wee bit more comfort and rhythm playing together and those wins will come. GO RAIDERS!!!

Hold on hold on

I have just pulled out the infamous cracked smeared foggy crystal ball from my ex’s ass. It say we will replay this past week’s game next week in terms of performance, execution and overall shitdom. We lose by 20. Cable actually sits on the ground and throws his hands on the air and asks the referee to help him get up. DHB alligators 4 passes. Mario is put on kickoff and suffers a heart attack, Janomisski is found in the hotel room with crystal meth, disco biscuits and an empty bottle of rye along with a rubber ball in his mouth the night before the game in TJ.

U have no idea

I need many more things and far greater amounts. May go on a tear. Got a wedding to go to on the weekend. If there is a single reasonably good looking woman from a highball goggles stand point I may us her for like a tackling dummy in the sack with gin poured all over her. Good thing I refrain from drugs although I am sure everyone suspects I have a serious coke/meth habit.

The Cards Game better be the catalyst for the Raiders to wake the hell up!

They have the talent to do some damage if they police themselves. I hope today at practice, Cable just tells the guys, “y’all know who fucked it up, I don’t have to tell you — let this be the end of it!”

It’s time for the players to realize they lost the damn game and work hard to earn the respect of the Nation.

I expect Henderson and Jano to get their act together after getting their asses kicked by the team during the weak and by themselves for their failures on the field. If not, they aren’t making it out alive from the Colisseum on Sunday.

The best team at beating the Raiders is the Raiders. It’s all on you, boys!

The RAIDER NATION is the ONLY NATION!!

I got nothing. Except to congratulate the Damus reamer, and TAW of course

We haven’t figured out how to stop shooting ourselves in the foot. One way or another, we leave way too many points on the field, and the special teams is anything but special, or special like the special olympics, that is…

Sighing.

Debby Downers

Bruce put up 20 points in the first half. Our redzone offense was shit, if we would have converted ONE of those it would be a different story. That goal line penalty was bullshit, easily could have been a td right there. This game was ours to win and we blew it. Its the beginning of the season, DMacfalldowns not fallin down, DHB is at least getting catches- its only game 3 in his second season- he’s at least looks like a solid rookie now. Rolando looked great, hopefully we get Henderson and Gallery back next game and it was Bruces first start since his multiple injuries. I agree with TAW after watching the Houston/Dallas game, I think ,with Bruce under center it will at the least be a competitive game.
