Time To Vote On The Prilosec Victory Of The Week:

This post is sponsored by Prilosec.

You can all vote for the Oakland Raiders who won on a last minute TD drive to beat the Cardinals. Oh wait, what's that, you say that the Raiders didn't take a shot at the end zone from the 17 with a minute and half left after the Cardinal defenders had already showed a penchant  for committing PI's.

So, you can all vote for the Oakland Raiders who won on a walk-off Sea-Bass Field Goal right? I mean he hasn't missed a 32 Yarder in 4 years...Oh, he missed the kick?

Oh well, here are the other candidates:

I voted Cowboys over Texans for a couple of reasons.

One win against a good team and they are in a surprisingly weak division so they have a chance to still win it and get into the playoffs. I’m not sold on Vick. Once they start playing stiff competition he will not be as effective. Also some of those A-holes on the Texans blog are taking us lightly. They made a list of all the QBs on their schedule and stated with the exception of Gradkowski all of those are good QBs who can expose their weaknesses in their secondary and their cover 2 and cover 3 schemes. Eugene Wilson is slow and mistimes plays. Their other outside line backer is poor at coverage which explains why he is leading in tackles. Their corners don’t jam the receivers which is required in order to allow the safties to converge once the corner let’s them go in the zone. I really want to beat these guys, not as much as the Chargers but definitely want to shut those bastards up.

I don't see why everyone is writing this off as a blow out loss already.

Its not like the Texans have such a great history with their zero playoff appearances and one winning season and all. Also last week showed they are beatable as well. Hell the Washington game showed they were beatable.

I'm a little surprised

It seems people are not taking Atlanta seriously enough. True them beating the Saints was an upset, but not wholly unimaginable. They are a solid team.

This as opposed to the Rams beating the snot out of the Skins, after we beat St. Louis fairly soundly.

Fuck the Chargers. Had to vote for that game ’cause I loooooove seeing those bastards lose.

I laughed watching Rivers trying to urge the refs on for a pass interference on that 4th down incompletion.

The ref didn’t even give him a second glance. Go back to the sideline Phyllis, quit your bitching and watch Seattle (the lesser team) kneel down and win the game. That helped a little after our loss to the Cardinals.
