As with all waived players from yesterday's roster reductions, the period for claiming players who were waived ends at 9:00 A.M. PST, which will be when the Raiders can reclaim Stevie Brown and other players they will want to include on their practice-squad.

TRW or anyone i have a question???

What significant difference is it between not cutting Stevie and anding him to the roster either on practice squad or 2nd stringer..or cutting him the collecting him from the waiver wire jist to do the samething (practice squad or second stringer). Him being cut was strang to say the least, and to cut a playmaker all the while keeping Pears make me want to order a Big Mac from Burger King.

Practice squad

In order for players to be added to the practice squad, they must first be waived, clear waiver, then be reclaimed and added to the maximum limit 8 man practice-squad.
