Chris Johnson WILL COST US GAMES!

Time for Chris Johnson to GO!!

He is  a liability and will cost us games.    Seen enough of him doing the wino shuffle out there and just because he gets a few picks in garbage time 4th qtr play a NFL DB he is not.

Let's figure this out quick!!

also looks like we might finally stop going to the "Lose the game in the last few minute Defense" AKA the prevent with only a 2-3pt lead!!  pin the ears back and get after it unless we got a 3 score lead!!!

nathan vasher! he just got cut by the chokers he’s better than Johnson! he’ll probably battle out Routt for the Nickel spot

i fully endorse this idea

but i do also know that dre bly was cut and available
and i also know lots of decent cornerbacks didnt make the cuts around the league

he wont start

but we should get rid of this guy Vasher can battle routt for the number 2 spot and we would look good

still better

Vasher is still better than johnson, Vasher may be weak in man to man but is he any worse than Chris Johnson? i think not

chargers

have a weak secondary. if they released vasher its for good reason. CJ would start over Cason as the 2nd best cb behind Jammer if he was on the Chargers.

He looked at against Seattle but

he’s a muich better option than Routt. CJ is coming back from a hamstring which can be tricky and why he sucked so bad against Seattle scrubs. Routt will just give us penalties but CJ can make plays when he is healthy. We’ll find out soon enough since every opponent will zero in on Routt and make beating him part of their game plan.

CJ makes plays but from what I have seen Routt seems less likely to0 give up the big play

he has looked much better on coverage than I have seen from CJ last season and early this preseason.

routt has improved

but giving credit to CJ, although he sucked in the preseason, has still held his own fairly well considering being targeted ninety five percent of the time to nnam’s five percent

Adding To This

He is recovering from injury. And he WANTS to be here.

Different Routt

From everything said about Routt, he is a different CB. Maybe we just need to give him an oppurtunity. I mean, he did show his talent in the SF game for practically the whole game. I don’t recall anything big against him.

Say What You Want About Routt !!!

He won the Job, by out playing CJ. Nnamdi said it best, at some point he had to get it. Looks like he did !!! When He last started opposite Nnam, our D-Line wasn’t worth Jack shit. No pressure on QB’s, who do u think was going to targeted !! Damn sho was going at Nnamdi, and with him stuck on the left cb position, it didn’t matter who was on the other side (DeAngelo HAll ????) and Routt’s a way better man to man cover, than he was !!!

I sure hope so

Cause Cable was singing the praises of Bey in camp, and it was an exaggeration.

I'll eat crow about Bey.

From the little he’s shown he has been working to get better this preseason. I believe the weird injury speculation is behind him and he now has a clean slate to work with this year. I may sound like a dope but I won’t be surprised if he matches his season total from ’09 in catches in 1 game this year. He looks that much better and I am happy for it.

chris johnson

isnt that bad. talk about overreaction…….

at worst he’s a starting nickel back on just about any nfl team.

Chris Johnson isn't bad...

He’s just very inconsistent. For every good game, he’ll give you four bad ones. When he’s on his game, he’s ON his game, but it’s too rare. I’m glad to see Routt step his game up and hopefully become the solid and consistent mainstay opposite of Nnamdi that we’ve been searching for for the past few years.

That's what I was trying to get at

And exactly why I shouldn’t be typing late at night.
