Houshmandzadeh agrees to terms with Ravens
According to Jason La Canfora, The Ravens have a new Daddy. The Housh will not be in Oakland this year and the Ravens, a team that I expect the Raiders to be battling for a Wild Card spot, just got stronger.

...first by Twitter, then on ESPN
People are reacting already, expecting the Ravens to win the SB.

I really wonder - it's all over, but the only quoted source is invariably Adam Schefter
and he is hit and miss.

Ravens Super Bowl
I don’t think Housh will make “the difference” on whether or not the Ravens make the Super Bowl, however, he will help fantasy football owners of Flacco.
Your team is your child...You love it no matter what.
contract uncomfirmed yet, but here's some speculation

This move — which comes hours after the New York Jets (the Ravens’ season opening opponent) reached a new deal with cornerback Darrelle Revis — is a surprising one. The Ravens were never linked to Houshmandzadeh because the team already has possession receivers in Boldin and Mason.
But it’s a low-risk signing that helps the depth at wide receiver, where the Ravens lost Donte’ Stallworth (broken foot) for at least six weeks. Mark Clayton, who has been the team’s No. 3 wide receiver in preseason, is dealing with a concussion.
Last season, Houshmandzadeh caught 79 passes for 911 yards and three touchdowns. Before signing a five-year, $40 million deal with Seattle, he had three straight seasons of 90 or more catches for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Houshmandzadeh was released by the Seahawks two days ago, but he is still guaranteed $7 million from Seattle for the 2010 season.
During his time with the Bengals, Houshmandzadeh continually hurt the Ravens. In 13 meetings, he averaged six catches for 76 yards receiving.
i dont believe we were battling for wild card against the ravens im positive they will be taking over the division this season, but us not having TJ could have been the difference between playoffs and a season with atleast 7 wins
Success is not measuredby what you accomplish, but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds...

F***!!!!!!!!
i was really hoping for him to swing out way,
but in better news an unknown team has basically reached terms with vincent jackson, but the chargers have declined and also declined to state who that team was.
hmmm someone the chargers wouldnt let him go to? someone interested in a top tier wide reciever…. all i’ll say is…. interesting…….
also, joey galloway is evidently not on the jets roster anymore….. once again…. interesting……
Adding To The Fustration
Looks like Tony Richardson will stay with the JETS

Could be a blessing in disguise that we didn't get him
Now Murphy and DHB get some more valuable playing time, so this way they can get really good faster than if they had a veteran in front of them. We’re probably going to get Schilens back within the first 5 games, and I think Higgins, Miller, and Ford will do a decent job as the backups.
Nate Davis
we gotta sign him the 49ers released him
