The Raiders have scheduled their press conference today at 1:00 p.m. PST to announce the hiring of Hue Jackson as their next Head Coach replacing Tom Cable.
Once Hue has finished his introductory statement and subsequent Q&A, the attention will then turn to Al Davis. Love him or hate him, there's no denying that an AL Davis press conference provides information, intrigue and is richly loaded with entertainment value.
Al Davis has not spoken to the press in more than 15 months, so we should be expecting quite a show when it comes to what Al has to say about everything Raiders.
I'm expecting Al to be quite verbose on the subjects from the disconnecting of Cable, not making the playoffs despite going undefeated in the AFC West and finishing THIRD to the flatulent-mouthed comments from punter Shane Lechler to the media.
We have all been in an information vacuum when it comes to the ways and means of the Raiders operations, so today should at least get us some answers.
