Not Cool: Shots Fired at McClain's Vehicle in Alabama
Last night shots were fired at Raiders LB Rolando McClain's SUV while he was driving in his hometown in Alabama. Thankfully no one was shot in the incident.
Please be safe during the offseason Raiders players!

Key word: *month*
He should just go down to LA and entertain himself by watching greatness in the making with the Lakers.

Once u make a million +
You do not want to go back to your old hood because people you know want some of your money and people that don’t like you aka haters, want to take your money! Only do it when its about family! But when its about homeboys and old girlfriends don’t even bother! But we don’t know why he was over there or what he was doing so Ro just stay out of trouble this off season. We need u healthy mayne!

There was some problems with Ro during his senior year playing HS ball...
…and while this may be coincidence you have to wonder if he was recognized and it escalated from that point.
Came over here to see if you guys got the news. Funny to think he’s safer in Oak-Town than Decatur, AL.

Does it have something to do with his trips home last season for "family reasons"?
Oakland was much unsafer in 2006 when we moved in. There was police action every night then – and the homicide rate was outrageous. I don’t know the homicide rate right now, but the last action we observed from our place was the police dispersing the crowds after the Merserle sentencing.

To be perfectly honest, I didn’t know he made any trips back home during the season.

I live about 30 mins from Decatur and he has many haters here
I live here in Alabama and when he first committed to Alabama my neighbor had played pick up basketball games with him pretty frequently and I remember him telling me that he was a punk and was always trying to pick fights with guys on the court…little did I know he would be a Raider years later haha..but yeah, more than likely it’s those punks he was playing bball with that tried to shoot him…Something that might interest you guys that you dont know, but Phillip Rivers went to Athens High School here in Alabama and the dude is a god here and I absolutely hate him of course…and Rolo went to Decatur High School…they play each other every year in football and it’s just interesting I think…they are about 20 mins apart.
...and another point
Ro was an Auburn fan growing up and even though he wanted to play for them (and everyone in his HS knew he did) they never offered the scholly. Enter Bama; and well, you know haters are going to hate.

They shooting
Probably old Bama boy himself j Russ out to get vengeance on our number 1 pick ole syrup, purple drinking self. Not but would be funny if it was Russ the bust.
Just said on the local news that they're taking a closer look to see if he was buying drugs.
Really hoping nothing comes of this, would be horrible.
I'm hoping Ro's clean, it would be devastating if he wasn't - worse than if they'd shot him and think about poor Al, sticking his neck out for Deep South players
just hope drugs weren’t involved.

Death wouldn't have reported the incident to the cops if he'd been involved in a shameful crime

News Flash:
When I met JaMarcus Russell and asked him about Rolando, he pumped his chest and said, “That’s my boy right there”. There has always been a shadow of doubt in my mind when it comes to Ro because of that.

Depends. Snake was a notorious drinker but didn't do drugs (only tried amphetamines once). The great Warren Wells
was into drugs and only lasted 4 seasons as a result. I hope Death Ro isn’t into that shit and, btw, personal stuff is going to affect performance; people can’t compartmentalize like machines.

I don't need this "new life"
I’m just waiting… to win. It gives me new life… to win, not watching Al’s sad PC’s.
The RaiderLaker
Winning doesn't happen for no reason - it takes leadership and the PC indicates to me that our two key leaders
are capable of the task and contradicted the claims that Al was out of it. So, it did give new life, or rather, regenerated life, in many …. but not all. The hard-hearted and cynical, the couch-potato’s with their swollen hemorrhoids and the doughnut-eaters were not moved from their entrenched positions.
