Did you get Free Tickets?

This is why I love the Nation so much. The organization has done one of the classiest things I've seen in sports. Here are the following emails sent to Season Ticket Holders:

SHARE A SPECIAL MOMENT WITH THOSE WHO ARE SPECIAL TO YOU

Dear Marco,

We value your commitment to The Oakland Raiders as a Season Ticket Holder and we would like to provide you with the opportunity to share with those who are important to you, a special moment as we pay tribute to Al Davis at our game, this Sunday.  Your guests, will be our guests.

Please respond to tickets@raiders.com if you would like to bring two (2) guests  with you to our game vs. theCleveland Browns, Sunday, October 16, 2011.  These tickets will be provided to you, with our compliments.

If you choose to do this, we will add two seats selected out of very limited inventory and assign them to your online Raiders account (Raiders.com/MyAccount).  You will be able to access these tickets through Ticketmaster’s convenient print-at-home feature.  Please email any questions to tickets@raiders.com.

Expect your complimentary tickets to be assigned to your account within 24 hours of responding through tickets@raiders.com.

Due to the anticipated high demand for this offer, we will be unable to print these complimentary tickets on game day at O.co Coliseum.  You must utilize Ticketmaster’s print-at-home feature.

Note:  Due to the limited inventory, there are no exchanges or upgrades with this complimentary offer.  Please email tickets@raiders.com with any ADA concerns.

If your a season ticket holder like me, dont get your hopes up yet, if this is your first time hearing about this. Here is the follow up email by no surprise.

Important Special Offer Update

Dear Marco,

The response to our offer to provide our Season Ticket Holders with additional seats to our game this Sunday has been absolutely overwhelming – thank you.  The additional seats  we  made available to our Season Ticket Holders on a complimentary basis has been exhausted.

If you have not already requested tickets – please be advised that there are no more of those tickets avaailable.

If you have already requested tickets - your tickets will be assigned to your account within the next 24 hours.

While some of you may be disappointed by this, we hope that you will agree with us that the most important thing is that the stadium will be full and that so very many people will be able to pay tribute to Al Davis.

Thank you again for your commitment to the Silver and Black.  Go Raiders.

I dont always check my email frequently, so I didnt see the offer until it was too late. But like the email says, the most important thing is that the stadium will be full and that so very many people will be able to pay tribute to Al Davis.

So was anyone quick enough to get a pair of free tickets? What kind of seats were they? I am guessing their in the 300's but I am only asking out of curiusity. No matter what, this weekend should be special for the Nation as a whole.
