Cleveland Browns vs. Oakland Raiders Injury Report
The Cleveland Browns injury report looks mighty small compared to the Oakland Raiders. But that is what you get when you are facing a team coming off of their bye week.
While the Browns list is tiny, the two players that have not been able to practice for them are key. CB Joe Haden is out with a knee injury, and C Alex Mack is recovering from an appendectomy. The Browns are holding out hope that both will be able to play. They could certainly use them. Mack and Haden are two of the Browns best players.
Meanwhile, the Raiders have a whole gaggle of players who missed practice. It is the same players that have been out with the addition of Rock Carwright and Michael Huff. Huff practiced on Tuesday, but apparently his ankle flared up again. Of the players who sat out practice he is the only one I think we can reasonably expect to see on the field on Sunday.
The excellent news is that Rolando McClain returned to practice in a limited fashion on Thursday. If he can't go, Darryl Blackstock would take his place in the starting lineup. This is a somewhat less than optimal scenario.
Louis Murphy has been going full tilt at practice. He should get his first game action of the year this week. It will be interesting to see how Hue Jackson works him into a crowded group of receivers. Check out NFL.com's full practice report for Thursday after the jump....

i was impressed how dominant our d-line was without shaugnessy
can’t wait to get him back, but any idea what Reece’s situation is? He is easily one of our best offensive weapons, and compliments our running game as good as any fullback in the league. Our offense just didn’t seem as explosive with him on the bench
"In football, I root for the Oakland Raiders because they hire castoffs, outlaws, malcontents, and f*ck -ups, they have lots of penalties, fights, and paybacks, and because Al Davis told the rest of the pig NFL owners to go get f*cked... Someday, the Raiders will be strong again, and they will dip the ball in **** and shove it down the throats of the wholesome, white, heartland teams that pray together and don't deliver late hits"

"I'll do anything to score a touchdown. And I'm not afraid like some people, their afraid to call those plays. I'm not. That's the way I like to live my life, I like to live on the edge. And that's the way it is, and that's the way it's gon' be."

Reece
is missed as a lead blocker, too. McFadden hasn’t produced the same without CelReese45.
Huff will play, McClain will play. Reese might play.

This Week The "WR"s Are Prolley 2nd Fiddle To The "RB"s -n- "TE"s???
The "Dawg"s are very ripe to the pickings vs the run but stout against the pass…Well on paper…It may just be that they be so weak to the run that no one bothers to pass…But it’s a good time to get the “O” it’s confidence and identity back after the last 2 weeks of seeing those “JC” melt downs!!!
“JC” 1st Half: J. Campbell 9/19 132 “TD” “Int”
2nd Half: J. Campbell 6/16 58yds “TD”
So maybe we rest Bush/“D-Mac” a little so their healthy and get “TJ” more involved this week…The "Dawg"s are not equipped to face our ground attack at all…
Meanwhile their run game’s weak!!!…We just put out a great performance against one of the top rushing team in Houston…70yds is all they got…
“Twenty of those 70 yards came on Arian Foster’s first rush. The Texans managed only 50 yards on their 24 other carries, or 2.1 per pop.”
This may really help our "DB"s this week to get a little healthier if their not having to tackle the run…Their passing game is less than ours so not much of a threat…The only thing our “D” faces is a good “OL”….
I guess you haven't heard...
Browns LB Marcus Benard was in a motor cycle crash and brook his hand.he will be out for this weekend at the least.Benard was the browns leader in sacks last year.

Players on IR aren't on the injury lists.
Bernard’s role had been greatly reduced this year. He had just .5 sacks and 2 tackles.

Wow… Just read an article in bleacher report comparing Ryan Mathews to run DMc. While the author(prob a charger fan) doesn’t decide who is better, he picks Mathews because of his “power” and stiff arm. Last time I checked DMc was bulldozing over defenders and his stiff arm could be the best in the NFL. He put dmcs receiving yds up to Mathews and EMPHASIZED how much better Mathews numbers are. Although they are better, Mathews has rivers under center and u doubt defenses pay more attention to Mathews than to DMc. I’ve seen Mathews in more screens as well so that buffs up his numbers. I say this competition isn’t close. DMc the better back hands down(not being a homer but maybe a lil biased cuz my hatred of the dolts). Mathews might have 20 more total yds but by the end of the year DMc will have more and hopefully be in MVP discussion . I never thought of Mathews as a great back. I see him as an average back with good receiving skills. DMc is the total package. DMc>>>>> Mathews. Go raiders can’t wait till Sunday!!

Reece is missed big time right now ..
Tonga is simply not getting the job done blocking. Also, Reece adds that big play factor in any time he is on the field. I hope Shaughnessy can return soon at full health. Our D-Line has done well, but having him in there just adds an extra something.
Just Win, Baby.

Tonga belongs nowhere near any NFL roster
Let alone one as talented as ours. Id like to see Bruce Campbell in the backfield getting a running start at some LBS.

btw, that picture shows how Ro waits for RBs rather than attacking them
