After four games the Raiders are 2 and 2 . The big win against the Jets was followed up with a good effort against New England . Oakland had more yards , won time of possession , the stat sheet looks like that of a team who won a game , except one stat ...penalties . You can't beat the New England Patriots with nearly 100 yds in penalties . 

 That said we showed heart , down 31-13 these guys did not quit , a goal line  stand , and a last minuted scoring drive showed allot of heart . When I saw the schedule 2-2 looked like a likely scenario for Oakland  , but here's the good news ,  we are now in the part of our schedule where Oakland can make a real strong move . Hou , Clv , KC , Den ,  SD , and Minnisota , if Oakland gets the penalties under control we can pull into Chicago week 12 at 8-2 maybe 7-3 which would put us right in the middle of the playoff hunt .

 Nobody likes a loss but with the schedule over the  next few  weeks , if we can play with discipline , and cut down on the penalties , we have a real shot at 8-2  , which puts us in a real strong position heading into the playoffs . This team is playing with allot of  heart ,  and with a little discipline can make a strong move towards a playoff run over the next few weeks .
