I'll be the first to admit that I didn't see this coming today ... and you can verify that by my comments on Arrowhead Pride where I predicted a Raiders 24-20 win today (yes, Raiders) so I'm as shocked as anyone by today's game, pleasantly so, of course
A couple of things here: first and foremost well wishes to McFadden and I do hope his injury isn't serious, Bush is a good runner but he just isn't DMC. Palmer will improve, and the bye week is coming at a good time: time to rest, time to heal, time to practice for the rest of the season.
Finally, to GMtalk ... now, Sir, do you understand why I said in your thread from yesterday that the Chiefs secondary is not horrible? Now you know what I mean about Flowers and Carr being dangerous in any game. Of course, payback is hell, and I have no doubt the Raiders will be primed and more than ready later in the season when they come to Arrowhead. Meantime, many thanks to all of you here at Silver & Black Pride for your patience and comments the last few days, and major props to Screwfish for posting Ask A Raiders Fan on Arrowhead Pride. The Raiders are definitely going to win more games this year, today's game just means the entire division just got a whole lot more interesting, at least for now.
