Great Victory to Continue Our Winning Streak Against San Diego

This season just earned the honor of the most unpredictable season of my life. The hard earned victory tonight was exactly what we needed. We now are guaranteed to have a share of first place in the AFC west after this week. We also just gave San Diego their 4th straight loss, which is the first time since 2003 that they have lost 4 in a row. What might be worse for them is that this is the 3rd straight loss against Da Raaidahs! I couldn't be happier right now, especially because I didn't feel confident going into this game. There has not been many times that I have been happier to be wrong.

Michael Bush and Denarius Moore were monsters today. A real connection between Palmer and Moore flourished today with Moore having 124 yards and 2 TDs receiving. The stats are great but they don't do justice to his performance. It seemed like every catch was amazing. He needed to work on going after the ball after his performance last week and he already showed an improvement in attacking the ball in air. There is no hyperbole needed for his performance, because however well you describe his play today it would be considered real and earned. Jump over for more....

Michael Bush finished with 241 yards from scrimmage, which was the most from a Raider running back since Bo Jackson. Unbelievable game from him today. If I was a GM on a different team in need of a starting running back I would have highlighted his name, then circled it, and then underlined it a minimum of three times. He just showed he is a true number one running back if somebody wants to give him the opportunity. Good for him. I hope to see a lot more of that the rest of the year. We came out with the plan of running the ball, and Bush let us do that all night long. It would have been great for him to get just one more yard on his last run to keep San Diego from getting the ball one last time, but that is definitely nitpicking. The defense took care of business today though, and that very much included the last minute of play.

Speaking of that defense, thank you! The defense lost the game last week against Tebow, but today it was anything but. Phillip Rivers was being hit all night. The talent came out big time tonight. The interception by Giardano was awesome. When that ball went in the air my heart stopped, but when Gio came down with it I think it might have straight up exploded. The entire defense showed up today and it was a performance the whole team needed.

Every player on our team did something well today, and Carson Palmer played great. He still had two bad turnovers that made this game closer than it really was, but he again showed us that he is the real deal. We now took momentum in our division once again into our own hands. The only way this win gets any better is with a KC loss this Sunday. The win was huge, and now we have 10 days off to get even better. Enjoy the extra days off, you absolutely earned it.
