Denarius Moore can catch anything. You just can't teach the kind of hands and instincts that this kid has. It is special. He stepped up when Jacoby Ford went down and turned in a five catch, 123 yard and two touchdown performance.
There was nothing more spectacular than this.
Look at that! You just don't catch a ball like that. It's not possible...unless you are Denarius Moore. There may be better catches this week because they come in traffic, or the receiver displays amazing footwork on the sideline, but in terms of just the actual catching of the ball there will be nothing more spectacular than this.
This catch was amazing. But Moore isn't just about the amazing. He is also about subtle brilliance. This guy is just a natural football player. And even though he is rookie he has no problem with the speed of the game. That shone through on his first TD grab. Check it out right here:
Moore was running a deep post, but the safety was going over the top. Right before this shot Moore was looking back at Carson. He saw Carson step up in the pocket, and knew he had a couple extra seconds. So he quickly diagnosed the defense and torched the safety while moving with Carson to the left of the field.
The result was an easy TD...and me getting completely jacked about his, and this passing game's, future.
