I sooo thought about this right after he beat the Chefs with only completing 2 passes.
I even contemplated getting one just to customize in and putting God, or Jesus #15.
(Of course I would never rock it, just to mock Bronco fans and stuff)
The RaiderLaker
Very Funny!!!!!!
Someone’s on Tebow’s side..I have never seen such ineptitude in my life. Call it luck, devine intervention, or the Forrest Gump karma, it works.
It's there right, they can
Do whatever the fuck they want within reason.
These people are in la-la land ...
3-1 in his four starts this year, and they think TT is the 2nd Coming?
They’ve been winning because they’re actually a good rushing team, and Tebow’s ineptitude is forcing them to play to their actual strength. Plus, aside from playing the Raiders, they’ve beaten some crappy teams during this span. Their defense has also come alive and started playing like an actual NFL team … their new-found ability to keep
the opposition out of the endzone has played a huge role in The Jesus’s early success.
The Detroit game is a lot closer to the way I expect Tebow to perform for at least the next 1.5 years or so. Not saying there’s no chance he can become a top-tier QB … physically he has the tools to become an excellent NFL QB, no question about it, and he seems like the type who is going to work hard at getting better.
But he still needs a LOT of work, in a number of areas, and I very much suspect that this great-looking 3-1 ‘start’ is going to devolve into a craptastic 8-18 start by the end of next season.
I suspect the beginning of the end of Tebow hype (amongst Donkey fans) is going to be tonight.
With McGahee and Moreno both out, and facing a Jets D that is top-tier stout against the run, the only chance the Donks have in this game is if they get a stellar performance from their QB. But the Jet’s don’t suck against the pass, either, so … I think it’s pretty likely Tebow has his worst game of his young career tonight.
When they’re looking at a 35-7 scoreboard at the end of the night, and Tebow has gone 4-20 for 50 yards, 0 TD, and 3 INT’s, even the dudes with the Jesus shirts will be forced into some serious soul-searching. Tonight they’ll see first-hand, in their own house, how little chance their team actually has of winning when Tebow is up against a top 15 defense that can stop their ground attack.
And just for today, allow me to say:
J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!!!
