Week 12 Fantasy Football: Raiders Sleeper of the Week

With almost the Raiders entire receiving corp injured, the Raiders' sleeper of the week is a fairly easy pick. It's going to be a receiver.

This week's sleeper pick is a player whose viability as a fantasy player has been three years in the making. It is Dr. Glass, Chaz Schilens.

Schilens is likely to start against the Bears. He is guaranteed to get plenty of snaps, and he is going to produce.

On the season Schilens has just 10 catches for 93 yards and two touchdowns. What is especially impressive about his numbers though is the fact that he has 10 catches off of just 13 targets. That is a fantastic percentage.

Schilens should get plenty of targets, and he is going to be one of the Raiders first options in the endzone. Schilens size and hands make him an excellent option in the endzone. We saw that last week, and my guess is we will see it again this week.

My sleeper pick goes to Myers. Chicago has a dirty secret, their middle is open for rape and pillage by our TEs

Boss too, but Myer seems hungrier.
Chaz may have trouble getting off the line with Chicago’s aggressive CBs … Murph too.

Reece is my pick.

Tough front and tougher LB’s + banged up receiving corps = RBs on pass routes and TE routes under the secondary. We CAN’t give up on the run even if we have no initial success PERIOD.
This is Hue’s moment to shine -or be exposed . He better have a GREAT game plan called and a contingency if it goes south. R.F.F.R.

Good call, Wyo. Reece was huge. Probs to the War Horse Bush ... it would be nice to give the man a break (DMC?)

Schilens played very well too and we started well with the TEs (3 completions) then backed off for some reason.

DHB and Moore have been updated to questionable for the Bears game.

DHB said he feels fine and can play without pain.. Sound like theirs a good chance Moore will play as well. I think think DHB will be the most productive WR for the Raiders today.

I've stopped playing Raiders WR in fantasy

It’s just too much of a crap shoot. Reese is a pretty good sleeper option, though.

Sleeper.ZZZZZZZZ

Reece was the man of the day, but perhaps Murphy could be staking a claim for more targets.
I was surprised to see DHB back in the mix.
He did alright as well.
Also, while noboby was looking, we won 3 in row for only the second time since??
2002.
A sign of good things to come I hope.

Pretty sure it was Jano

6 for 6 on field goals and 18 of our 25 points and finally kicking it deep on kickoffs.

"Now I know what your thinking, did he fire six shots or only five. Ive forgotten myself in all this excitement, but being that this is the 44 magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and could blow your head clean off, you have to ask your question. Do I feel lucky? Well do ya punk!"
