Ndamukong Suh's 1st Game Back Will Be Against Raiders

DETROIT, MI - NOVEMBER 24: Defensive end Ndamukong Suh #90 of the Detroit Lions argues with referee Terry McAulay #77 after Suh is ejected from the game for unsportsmanlike conduct in the third quarter against the Green Bay Packers during the Thanksgiving Day game at Ford Field on November 24, 2011 in Detroit, Michigan. (Photo by Gregory Shamus/Getty Images)

Ndamukong Suh got a two game suspension for using a the Packers' Evan Dietrich-Smith arm to regain his balance. It was clearly an innocent mistake. Suh had to daintily replant his right foot to regain his balance, and it was unfortunate that Smith's arm was there. Take a look for yourself:

(via jk2626261)

Wow! Guess I shouldn't blindly believe a player about the intentions of their actions. That was a heinous act of retribution right there. Suh's initial excuse was an absolute joke. Jump over for that ridiculous statement and suspension details.....

Star-divide

As a result of all of this nonsense, Suh received a two-game suspension. ESPN is reporting that Suh will appeal the suspension. That appeal will be heard and ruled upon before the Saints next game. And that means the Raiders will be facing Suh in his first game back.

Suh will be a little out of game shape, but he will also be rested. He will be a big challenge for the a Raider offensive line that is coming off of their worst game.

The real question is here would you want the Raiders to retaliate here, or remained composed like the Packers?

I say knock him on his ass. No boy named Suh can assault a Raider and just walk away. The refs punished him, and the league has as well, but sometimes players also need to police themselves.

I want him to appeal

that will delay the suspension for atleast another week, and he’ll most likely miss the game against us. I dont mind puttin pride to the side for a sec if it means getting another win. We’ll worry about suh later though, we got miami and and cameron wake to worry about this week.

I like your thinking

I don’t really like the idea if facing Suh after two games on the sideline.

On the other point of Suh pulled that shit I guarantee Aaron Curry and Mike Mitchell would be off that sideline in zero seconds flat and it would be an uncontrollable situation.

Yeah Oz, i dont think Suh wants to cross that Silver & Black line...

If we can’t get to him, then we will definitely get to his quarterback and “he will go down hard!”

They said an appeal would be decided upon before their next game

So either way he will be on the field for the Raiders game

They charged me 15 dollars. That's how much it costs to only have 20 dollars.

Just curious, if he does appeal

Wouldnt the league make an expedited decision right after?

in an article i read

the appeal is suppose to be fast tracked. art shell is the appeals ruler…. though his last tenure with the raiders ended abruptly maybe he still has a soft spot for the raiders and will hold off a couple days for the ruling and have suh’s suspension begin next week

I heard he did appeal

the suspension

And at LEAST one of our guys didn’t also get ejected for retaliating.

We are attempting to change the culture and blow teams up during the whistle.....

I still think Suh suspension is long overdue. He gets away with too much stuff. He only had 42k in fines so far before Thanksgiving seriously. Curry had 20k just for a late shove on Tebow out of bounds. We need to square up and smash him in the face and set a precedence. Take care of business they way it needs to. I’m really disappointed in the behavior and inability to see his wrong doings. He needs to grow the hell up.

If we let the after the whistle stuff go we will be a more disciplined and more composed. Take care of it during the play and don’t let his thugary become our own. First play they could just cut him that’s what all the teams do to star linemen. We need to be destructive when its allowed. All that games we start jawing and get over-hyped we loose our composure and usually loose the game. The most important thing is the playoffs and the AFC West crown.

We need to try to do the right thing first, but I will say if he cheap shots Carson all bets are off…

i would be severely disappointed if Suh isnt there...

I dont want to feel like the only way we can beat these uys is if their star player is not on the field. I want Suh on the field, plan and simple. Its to late to play/act scared now, the playoffs are right around the corner, and if we as fans act scared, then we will never have the confidence in our team that they so deserve.

7-4 dammit!!!!!!!!!!

We have 5 games left, and we need to play as if Denver is going to win out their remaining games, meaning we cant even afford to drop 1 game for fear of losing to a tie braker.

Suh and his problems can wait..imo..lol but it was a funny video though

I want to be the modern day version of Super Mario Brothers!!! Dont care for *shrooms*, but would love to *get large* and *spit fire*...unless im constantly told "thanks, but your girl is in another castle". That would rate a 8.9 on the ole *Suck-ometer*!!!

On one hand

I wanted Suh to miss the game due to our precarious position with only having a one game lead and having to play a much improved Miami, and then GB before we get to them.

The other hand wants him there more then anything. The 49ers did the rest of the league a favor with how they beat them. Play good defense and run it right at Suh.

The Lions have an amazing defensive line. It’s so amazing it’s also their detriment. Every team that has beat them, beat them the exact same way. Run the draw. The D-Line bites every single time it seems because the minute they read pass they push as far as humanly possible, while the RB gets the ball with no one around him. The middle is consistently open against those guys and a good running game (Which we have) combined with a short to intermediate set of routes for receivers (Jury’s out) you can beat them soundly.

But as it’s already been said we aren’t playing them this week. We have a different animal to tame, and despite the record we will have our hands full.

Despite the numbers I was impressed with the defense on Sunday. They kept Forte sealed up about as much as you possibly can. Reggie Bush has caught fire over the last couple of games, but we are just the team to extinguish him. I feel like we can roll them if we stick to our guns and play Raider football.

Who Cares?

Suh is in or not, our O line can handle him. We slowed down Julius Peppers and Jared Allen. Neither dominated our guys, both are comparable. Not to mention Von Miller and any man beast we’ve faced this year. Suh is a beast, but not unstoppable. If he gets out of line, he gets punched in the mouth. Our D can be just as aggressive as the Lions. Penalties shall be flying that game, refs are going to be tired. Good smash mouth football, I can’t wait. Till than, I want the Raiders to unleash on Miami. Knock Moore down a lot, slam Bush’s ass to the floor, and hammer Marshall in the middle. Our defense is finding a good groove, Miami will show if the Raiders are playoff bound or going to collapse.

But if like me and you fear for the “QB” than ya have reason for concern…The loss of “CP3” would totally derail us with Kile Frakin Boller as #2…Well maybe Pryor can run that “Donkey-Dung” “O” and would be just fine??

Aside from that I like the idea of provoking his young ass now that he’s been slapped and has to hold it all in…This could be fun…Get him so frustrated with anger when he’s NOT allowed to let it out that he shits his own jock!!..His play will prolley diminish as a result??

That guy has squandered so much so fast that even in this season of “QB” after “QB” going down NO one has him on “Slow Dial”…Even after his sweet little attempt to put it all on The Raiders and Tommy Boy there are still NO takers or even talkers??…That’s way too funny to me!!!

it's more sad than funny

every one deserves a second chance, all he needs to do is get his self into respectable football shape, and prove to teams his mind is focused on football and he will get another shot…

He has a cannon for a arm, and was already pretty mobile for guy at damn near 280 lbs..

The NFL is full of players given second chances… (Donte Stallworth, Plaxico Burress, Laurence Phillips, etc. + every other player we gave 2nd and 3rd chances to through out RAIDERS history…
