Following what may have been the most important win of our season about three weeks ago I said I believe this team will go on a run and make the playoffs at 11-5. That is a far cry from me saying realistically we can be 8-8 with 9-7 at best at the start of the season. I am not drinking the Kool-Aid either. Our defense is finally forcing turnovers with eight in the last 3 wins. Compare that to the thirteen through the first eight games. Carson Palmer is done with his preseason after a scarily bad 3 TDs: 6 INT ratio through his first game and a half he has better 3TDS: 2 INT ratio afterwards. This team is doing something special and a lot of us are not grateful for the fact we are playing meaningful football in December with a full game lead in the division. Don't worry about Tebow and the Broncos getting all the media attention or that we haven't won a game by more than 7 points in all but a very entertaining 34-24 beatdown of the Jets. Now is the time to enjoy what this team is doing. Don't we deserve this after all the Jamarcus years and the Tom Cable off the field embarrassment as well at times on the field embarrassment? I like many have a habit of breaking down the team too often and over analyzing our weaknesses and not acknowledging our strengths. It's like this Sunday for example and if we have any shot of containing one of the most underrated linebacking corps boasting Cam Wake and Karlos Dansby or if Matt Moore is a lock for 200+ yards and 2 TDs. I just want to watch and hopefully the greatness that is being overlooked by the masses continues no matter how ugly it looks doing it or if we are even a blimp on Sportcenter afterwards.
