I know were hurting this year in the draft with no picks in the first 5 rounds, but we are due a few comp picks...hopefully. I obviously see plenty of holes in our offense and Im looking to the future in these later rounds like the Raiders
have successfully found these last few years, obviously I'd start on the O-line especially on the right side but I'll save that for FA I don't believe in drafting OL in later rounds, sorry thats just me. My 3 are obviously not only for Carson but our future at QB, three tools on the offensive side of the ball that can add more of threat than Ford, Moore and Bush-It'll be as if they never left the field, keep an open mind...
My first Pic in the third or fourth round(comp pic)is as follows:
Mississippi State RB Vick Ballard
A big upper-body a lot like McFadden but with Bush's Legs with Speed! Has great eyes to the gap and is an Ox through the tackle. Was never even suppose to get a scholarship so he has heart and doesn't let people get in his way, thats a guy I want on 3rd and 5. Still runs a 4.5 but once he gets past the safeties hell take it further than Bush and he adds another threat If Bush does leave, Id rather see him play all 16 games than a 1st rounder playing 6-8 a year, a dream pick to me. Ballard/Bush/Jones!
My second Pick would have to be a Miracle! but fourth or Fifth Round by trade or comp pick:
Stanford TE Coby Fleener
A big replacement to all the tens of thousands of TE's we have can block and catch like a champ!Definitely the best TE in the draft! This big boy was Luck's best friend and with our speedy WR's and big backs he fits in so perfect as our starting TE! A fucking stud straight up! the key between winning and losing is a good QB with an awesome TE!He adds a huge element of hard knox Raiders football, that could take our offense up a notch...
My Third Pick in the sixth or seventh round:
Wake Forrest WR Michael Campanero(If he decides to leave Early, I doubt it being hell probably wanna increase his status)
Total Wes Welker look alike! He's definitely a sleeper, He's fast, short and has great hands. Runs a 4.4 and him coming in on the slot or screen plays would be deadly! A good returner as well so him and Ford could split Kickoffs and Punts, A true weapon for Hue's wild and sometimes cleaver Offense, I could see him being a Ford replica, diamond in the rough!
No one wants to see Oakland tear it up more than I, Ive heard my grandpa and my dad talk about Casper, Stabler, Bo Knows, Big Fred B, Marcus Allen and Plunkett all these little pieces that added up to such a great dynasty, I can see we have holes, but I'm also aware of the potential we have and just the smallest of pieces can finish this puzzle whether its FA or the draft I know our time is right around the corner, yes this season isn't over but it never hurts to look ahead! Go Raiders! a true commitment to excellence.
