NATION- 89 equals a 1,000

This Sunday Michael Bush needs 89 more yards to reach 1,000 for the season. Do I think he can do it? YES! Do we need him to do it? YES!!!!!! Everything rides on Bush and the rest of the Raiders to take care of business Sunday and stomp the Chargers! We can and should only focus on our own game, WIN and let the chips fall into place and I believe they will.

I did this piece for number 29, hope for his sake and ours that he breaks the 1,000 yards mark.

This has been the craziest and most tumultuous year I can ever remember a football team having to go through.

We lost- The face, the heart and soul of our team MR. AL DAVIS

We lost – Our Starting QB Jason Campbell mid-season

We lost- Our most explosive Player in McFadden

We lost- For several games our biggest playmaker receivers in Ford and Moore

We lost- One of our most explosive D-linemen in Shaughnessy, and Seymour a dominate force on our D-line has been playing hurt for most of the season.

And of course- Bush has been carrying our entire run game on his shoulders. T Jones has also been hurt and out of commission (I keep waiting to see Jones play and turn it loose, that’s gonna be fun when he does)

And we- have had to endure some of the most inept officiating that I have ever witnessed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And yet look where we are, our Raiders still have a chance. We are in a good position even though we been through so much this year and yet we are still standing. It doesn’t matter how many times you get knocked down all that matters is that you get back up!

The RAIDERS have proven that they are fighters. We may bend but we won’t break.

We have a fighter’s chance-COME OUT SWINGING

Lame ass officiating- at LEAST HALF of the penalties called against the Raiders are questionable at best. ( I can’t tell you how many times I yelled "BULL SHIT, ARE THEY FKING BLIND" or "ARE THOSE FKERS PAID OFF???"

ESPN COMENTATORS- Those DCKS are the most biased ASSHLES I’ve ever heard. Do they get a bonus for every insult or undermining comment they make about the Raiders.

the prevent defense. Its taken us out of more games than anything else. And winning is all I really care about. Dont really care about the officials, you can bitch but they are like ass-warts. Cant do anything about them, learn to live with them. Mediaots, only way to shut them up is win. I think PR said it best ( or maybe it was OZ) I’d rather they didnt say anything about us anyway. And trolls? I really could care less.

We have always put up with asshole pundits and shitty officiating. The ‘immaculate deception’ being the first and until ‘the tuck rule’ game the worst.

I think saying 'at least half of the penalties were BS is a pretty huge exaggeration

I am kind of sick of the bitching and whinging about officiating and about the world being against us. Waaaah the media hates us, waaaah the NFL hates us. We are in this position because we have repeatedly shot ourselves in the foot not because of anything else.

Even if it’s is true that’s life as a Raider fan get over it.

On clearly ugly officiciating against us: Stop whining, we are the ones who suck, not the officials.

I give a shit about my team

Lame ass officiating- The Packers game was a prime example. The game was already in the tank and out of our reach. The Packers had a good kickoff return but their return man had clearly stepped out of bounds and then he picked up an additional 16yards of ground before being forced out. Coach Hue challenged the call but the reply equipment did not work?(WTF-When was the last time the replay equipment didn’t work?) Instead of waiting to correct the video feed problem and deliver a conclusive ruling they gave Hue back his challenge and gave the Packers the Extra 16 yards.

Even the Packers fans knew he stepped out because the stadium grew quiet as the return was replayed on the Big Screen (all the Refs would have to do is look up, everyone could see it)- On the next play that was challenged, the video reply equipment miraculously worked –in favor of yes, you guessed it the Packers.

About ESPN commentators- Go to the official Raiders web site and they have the last Chiefs game highlights posted by ESPN (3:39 clip).

On the botched field goal fake. Okay our Raiders missed the play cloak and scratched the play I admit that but those Dicks seem to revel in punking our team, to the point of distain.

ESPN Hole number #1 " It’s called a lack of discipline, it’s been a problem all season long" (Okay, I will accept that one)

ESPN Hole number #2 "What do you mean all season long, all century long" (Okay, fuck off)

ESPN Hole number #3 "This was really a sloppy game. Your seeing very few highlights, I think that’s about it, isn’t that about all?" queued up for the Chiefs McCluster 49 yard run.

ESPN Hole number #4 "I call that a highlight. That’s a legitimate Highlight" (Okay so McClusters 49 yard run was a legitimate highlight? but the Touchdown bomb to Moore was not a legitimate Highlight? Or Giordanos’ end zone score saving interception and return for 62 yards was not a legitimate Highlight? )

On Seymours’ SECOND blocked field goal,

ESPN Hole number #5 "Not him?" (Like he could barley stomach acknowledging Seymour)

They replayed the blocked punt again and of course-

ESPN Hole number #6 "That ball started off low, but…." (Instead of giving Seymour the deserved recognition of blocking the punt, he tried to down play the block. Give the man the respect he’s earned)

They replayed the first play of overtime which of course was the bomb to DHB.

ESPN Hole number #7 "That’s a bread basket, typical…" (Talking about DHB, again this is a great play and a game sealing reception. Respect is earned not given and DHB earned it- and for the record I don’t give a f*ck how DHB catches the ball, bread basket, against the helmet or through the legs, just as long as he makes the catch)

ESPN Hole number #8 "kind of a microcosm of the entire AFC WEST, does someone really want to win?"(What is he talking about? all the teams in our division are playing to win)

About the Raider hating TROLLS- That one’s easy go to any post about or involving the Raiders outside of Silver and Black Pride and the Trolls come out in full force.

This isn’t about me it’s about my team; The Raiders mean something to me, so yes I take it personal if they get disrespected or pissed on. I can be honest about that.

As far as the Bush Tank. I pulled an all nighter (7:00am) to get that one done and sent a copy to Coach Hue- in hopes to get it to Bush before the game. To give Bush even just a little more motivation to run over them Chargers like a tank.

Maybe I care too much about my team, but I can stand by that.

I am not going to argue that we havent had call go against us but in the games where it would have actually made a difference to the result in every single one we had opportunities to make plays and win the games and we didnt.

We have also had many stupid penalties that were completely warranted and the bottom line is that ALL teams have calls go against them throughout the season and in general fans look at a lot of things through the eyes of a fan of a particular team and although I do agree that we have had some awful calls go against us at times if you look at it objectively i don’t think it is as bad as some would have you believe. If you ask any fan of any team if the feel like they get screwed by the refs I guarantee 90% would say yes and I am just sick of the victim mentality around here.

In regards to ESPN while I agree that 9 times out of 10 when they talk about the Raiders it is complete crap I you are over analysing and you are eventually going to drive yourself insane.

I hate trolls but the blatant Donkey fans and the like that come here and talk shit dont bother me it is the classic internet trolls that pretend they are fans that really piss me off as most people around here know like our old friend resident troll who has thankfully disappeared off the face of the planet since the last beat down i handed out to him lol.

I will explain-

I said- (Maybe I care too much about my team, but I can stand by that).

I also said-(The Raiders mean something to me, so yes I take it personal if they get disrespected or pissed on. I can be honest about that).

My emotions do come into play when my team is involved so for me it does pertain to the topics of the POLL. I am emotionally invested and I can admit to that.

About bad officiating- Okay I will admit every time we make a big play I wait to celebrate till after I know there is no flags. But there has been MANY calls this season that leave me saying to myself (about the officiating) "Are they watching the same game as I am?", and on top of that the new league rules leave me thinking as Coach Hue said "I don’t know what Football is anymore." So yes bad calls leave me angry and heart broken in close games.

About ESPN commentators- It seems to me and of course I could be wrong that the majority of those D*cks have genuine disdain for the Raiders. When they or other media talk low of our team or what I feel is disrespect then yes, my emotions do get the best of me and I get angry about it.

About Trolls- This is something I can’t relate to. There is so many on the net that talk so much shit and there seems to be no respect, no boundaries, no lines that aren’t crossed. I believe in rivalries in sports, sure, but when I read some of the vile crap that’s thrown at the Raiders, well okay, again I get angry but what can I do about it. The internet is like pissing in the wind sometimes.

So again my emotions govern my thoughts (Maybe I care too much about my team), I can admit that and for me they do pertain to the topics discussed in the POLL.

As for the POLL and any others that vote or don’t vote. It was meant as a mindless POLL to vent, it wasn’t meant as serous analysis of why our season has turned out the way it has. The main reason we are where we are is because of one major factor= INJURIES!

I have no doubt that we would have clinched our division by now if we did not suffer the many injuries we’ve had.

As they POLL states it’s the SUCK OF THE YEAR AWARD, NOT the reasons for the CURRENT RECORD OF THE TEAM AWARD.

More because of the way the officials friggin DON’T CALL shit on the other team when they do the same shit that we just got flagged for.

It’s not so much (to me) that the Raiders are lily-white and every call is BS (although some are), it’s the UNFAIRNESS of the way our games are called.

There’s been more than a few games that’ve just been infuriating in this regard over the years.

Rivers was not presured at all thats why we lost. He is way too dangerous if given time and Rivers had all day.
