The sorriest game of the year

I don't know what to say. I did not expect such a blowout. We got our butts handed to us big time. 14 points in garbage time otherwise we would have been shutout. The biggest problem was that the game started with Moore having all day to throw. What happened to our pass rush? It completely vanished! So much for the poor Dolphin secondary - they stopped our receivers cold practically all day and most certainly when it mattered most. Michael Bush was stopped dead in his tracks about everytime he got the ball, which highlights how desperately we need Run DMC back. With Taiwan out, we had little option to change running schemes. Palmer did not have a good day, and indicates that he really missed Jacoby and Denarius. No doubt we were missing major offensive weapons but that is still not a good excuse. Schillens and DHB are good wide outs but I guess you cannot expect Palmer to be perfect all the time with so many changes at wr. DHB had a decent day and Reece did not show up until the game was over. The penalty monster reared its ugly head again, and Seymore has to become more disciplined. Barnes holding penalities really hurt...I could go on and on about everything that happened, and in a nutshell, both the offense and defense failed miserably. The loss had a lot of meaning to me because it exposed the Raiders and there was really no justifiable excuse. It is telling of what is likely to happen if we do make the playoffs, but Denver is now in a better position with an easier schedule. Things are not looking good for us but I will not give up hope. We had a bad day, the worst of the year, and these things happen. The Raiders need to bring it together in these last 4 games, and I will continue to be a believer that they will do it. We are still tied for first with much to hope for. It will be great when DMC, Ford, Moore, and Taiwan return.
