The .500 Team!

Let's look at our schedule this year:

W - Denver, L - Bills

W - Texas, W - Browns, L - KC, L - Denver

W - SD, W - Vikes, W - Chicago, L - Miami .....

The pattern seems to say that we should lose to GB and Detroit. Not because we CAN'T win those games, but because the mentality of this team is such that it plays .500 football.

Whose to blame? I don't blame the coaches. I don't blame the injuries. I blame the players!

They get a W and then fall flat. They get up in the half and then fall flat. They put together some ugly wins and then fall flat.

The legend is that Stabler once flushed his paycheck down the toilet after a loss. I wish that Palmer and Seymour would be willing to do the same. To do something to set a fire under the butts of this uninspired team!

Damn, you may be on to something. But, it's more about the players having a progressive rhythm than feast-famine syndrome
