Buffalo Bills release DL Marcus Stroud

Yahoo Sports: Stroud Released

from what i have read, the bills released 10 Year Veteran Marcus Stroud from their roster after failing to convert to a 3-4 defense.

now then here comes one of my crazy what if's posts about it, should the raiders take a chance on Stroud?

these are his stats through out his career:

he averaged 3.0 sacks last year which isnt very bright, only because of the ongoing transition to a 3-4 defense. We the raiders of course are currently running a 4-3 defense and we may have a good use for him but then again our Defensive line has been quite well this year im not sure yet if this is a pickup we need.

This past year our defensive stats were the following:

Team G Pts/G Yds/G RushYds/G PassYds/G Int IntTD FFum DefTD Tack PD Sack
Oakland Raiders 16 23.2 322.8 133.6 189.2 12 2 12 3 635 67 47.0

Our Projected DL Starters: LDE Lamarr Houston, LDT Richard Seymour, RDT Tommy Kelly, RDE Matt Shaughnessy

all of these guys played stellar last year but the question still stands, will Stroud be a possible upgrade if needed

Nation You decide!

PS: and btw i really hate working with this table spreadsheet whatever its called with the stats
